Event Description

Like last year, we're having our kickoff party at Red Eye, a gay-owned venue not far from the NYer hotel. We'll be having several events at Red Eye over the course of the weekend, so it will be good to familiarize yourself with the walk. The NYer is at the corner of 34th Street & 8th Ave. Red Eye is at the corner of 41st Street & 9th Ave.

They have a clothes check, and you can strip down to any gear you want, just no full nudity. The bars will be open and serving (cash or CC) and we will probably have wrestling mats somewhere in the space.

This party will be one of the places to pick up your wristband for the weekend. They'll also be given out in the NYer lobby at some point Saturday to be announced.

This party is a lot of fun, and it's cool to look around and know we are all in this together. Make a plan to attend by asking a buddy to walk there with you.

Red Eye will also be hosting a RuPaul viewing party in their downstairs bar until 9pm, and we are welcome down there too. Picture it, a bunch of dudes in singlets watching Drag Race. Only at a Wrestlefest!
