Event Description

This event listing is for the open mats session on Saturday, February 13 from 11:00 - 2:00 pm as part of Wrestlefest NYC 2026.

Since the open mats area at Red Eye will be taken over by a pro wrestling ring on Saturday, we are moving the open mats to the NYer hotel. This session will be held in private hotel suites at the New Yorker hotel. Exact configuration will be figured out after rooms are assigned, but they will be held in multiple suites with mats. Must RSVP to attend. Attendee list will be shared with group in advance.

Like the open mats sessions at Red Eye, this event is an opportunity to hang out with other wrestlers and have a chance to wrestle then and there. You should bring a small bag to put your belongings in if you plan to strip down to gear; and you should plan to strip down since the open mats are for guys who want to wrestle, not just to watch.

We will figure out additional details as the date approaches, but go ahead and join this event if you'd like to come to these open mats.
