Hi everyone! I’m new to the scene and looking to get into wrestling or possibly Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a beginner and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for places/classes in the Connecticut or New York area.
I came across Metro Wrestling in NYC, but their website seems pretty out of date and I haven’t been able to find them on social media, so I’m not sure if they’re still active.
Ideally, I’d love to find somewhere that specifically trains gay men or is LGBTQ-friendly and welcoming to complete beginners. I’m open to either wrestling or BJJ.
If anyone has any suggestions or personal experiences with places in CT/NY, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks everyone!
