That always sucks. When I was setting up matches I never relied solely on the MF messaging interface... always switched to texting at some point, when final arrangements were being made. Of course they can still ghost you this way too, but at least you have their number, which might encourage a bit more transparency and responsibility on their part.
I have nearly 100 previous opponents but I’d say more than 50% of planned meetups go like this. Make the plans. Get hotel. This opponent let me know he had to cancel this morning at last moment using the block button to save time.

And does anyone else find the pop up alerts blocking everything ? By the way, this was not Gordonbelly. Just his alert popped up in the way.
