They've been popping up on IG and Youtube, well made but as you said (and having been on both giving and taking end of GP myself for years) there are elements that give it away. Agree, it would be a shame if these became more commonplace as it futher reduces the intimacy of GP to a removed spectator sport
Has anyone else noticed a bunch of new videos made with AI? In the last few days I've seen both gp and wrestling videos that are obviously made with AI software. To an extent I think they could be amazing, although the few gut punching vids I've seen look really fake, with a "soft" gut being punched in a way that makes it look like somebody pressing on a marshmallow. I've punched enough guts, both hard and soft, to know what it looks like. To another extent, I think it's concerning because vids like the one linked below, while fake, might encourage some people to actually tryy extreme moves like the one seen in this vid. Btw, you can be sure it's made with IA by looking at the number of hands that are wrapped around the left hand of the guy on the mat. At one point there is an extra set of fingers wrapped around his wrist. AI isn't yet good enough to accurately depict this kind of action, but it will be before too long. It'll be a shame if we're swamped with fake vids, making it more difficult to enjoy real ones. https://www.instagram.com/p/DTJ4OB8jlql/. And here's an example of a gp vid. https://www.instagram.com/p/DTIiAU-DUe3/
There are a tons of them emerging on the internet as of late. Some are mildly entertaining (not everyone can tell a good story), but hardly convincing as an actual event. You can figure that out by the highly exaggerated dialogue, and unrealistic responses. Like in a B movie.
In any event, I look at them the same way I would any animated production: as fiction. Albeit as an animated fiction clip or shorts.

Timothee Chalamet earned himself some gut punching recently. He definitely needs it!

Interesting. I haven’t seen any with plot or dialogue yet. I’ll keep my eye out for that.

I've seen a bunch of these in the past few days. I think there is one guy who is producing them, and they are spreading through re-posts
