I just joined pup wrestling's member site today, after coming across Apollo's description of what pup wrestling entails. I could not have agreed more as to what he said about pup wrestling. It's a totally different style of wrestling, but still remains true to the main principle of what wrestling is: two opponents trying to pin each other, whilst showing who is the dominant wrestler. I feel wearing a mask, along with leather gloves, adds to the
masculine mystic, which is another principle of the sport: masculinity. Like the members before me, I, too, am simply interested in wrestling; not filming a match that I would be in. I hope the pup wrestling site continues to grow and acts as a meeting point for those of us who enjoy wrestling while wearing a mask.
i’d suggest advertising on other platforms, reddit , fetlife to help people find out about this site an group . i’m thinking about putting a ad in the analogue space community bulletin board etc cause i’m the only person in my city on this site 😞 idk if that’d be a good idea tho.
i am excited to see pup- masked wrestling grow . now let’s “ fertilize that growth “ 🪴an make it flurish 🌸🌺
That actually sounds like a pretty cool idea 😄 Especially if you’re the only one from your city on MeetFighters right now.
If the bulletin board is in a queer / kink-friendly space, I’d definitely give it a try — maybe with a simple QR code linking to MeetFighters or the group. You never know who might be interested in wrestling, pup play or masked fights but has just never heard of the site.
Reddit and FetLife are good ideas too. I think getting some visibility outside MeetFighters could really help us grow the community. 🐾🤼♂️
