I think a better solution would be to allow meetup requests to have date ranges , so if one of us is visiting Toledo from the 12th to the 16th, there is one meetup for the whole date range of possible wrestling days, not a separate one for each date.
If you make just one for one day, it only appears for the one day and it would be missed.
I did do exactly that when I moved from GlobalFight to MF. I contacted my past GF opponents who were now on MF, and we added each other as Past Opponents.
Seems like a reasonable compromise. The only thing I could say in response is that the full post may not be read if the date for the end of the month appears inconvenient.
Just wondering if anyone else finds it annoying when a wrestler on here posts meetup posts for consecutive days in a row longer than a week or two.
It may just be my opinion but it seems more like spam and annoying to have to scroll down an entire screen of one guy’s posts to make it to the bottom. 😅
As a suggestion maybe just make one post for the end of the month and in the description write the days you are actually available for?
