Hey Hey! Jaiar here. I come from a wrestling family. My dad was a very accomplished collegiate wrestler who went on to become a high school wrestling coach. Needless to say there was tremendous pressure on me as the first born son to follow in my father's footsteps. My younger brother and every one of my male cousins went on to fiercely defend the family legacy on the mat. I however, entirely too anxious that I would be discovered as a fag*ot, quit after 2 weeks on the wrestling team in 7th grade. In hindsight, it makes me sad to think I sacrificed an opportunity to find pleasure in the physicality of men's bodies grappling for dominance. AND being a solid dude, both on my feet as well as centered in my core from years of acrobatic and circus training, I feel like it is finally time (at 48, no less) to explore wrestling.
