Us "little guys". Do the famous guys really listen, read, respond?

YES, they do! Let me offer "Feroce" as a prime example! Such a nice guy. Check him out! I've been talking with him for EVER. We've never met, but he takes such trouble to respond. Impressive!

Here in the UK, Joey Mason. I've met him, been in his headscissors. Yikes! On Watchfighters he likes to appear formidable. He's so strong - but yes, actually, a nice guy. And yes, he responds to messages.

In short, why not contact some FAMOUS people? Ask them to meet you! They can only tell you, "Sorry ... but NO".

But - maybe you'll be surprised! Yes - I've even been headscissored by "Axel"! Because I asked to meet him, in Philly! He's such a nice guy.

Do YOU have tales to tell about famous people who have agreed to meet you?

And, of course, don't let's forget recent joiners. I suspect at least one guy I've recently met will shortly be a very famous London wrestler ...

After uploading 700+ videos, it is QUITE the accomplishment being fairly consistent for 4 years… spending 3-5 hours/week editing and uploading videos, and keeping up with a channel to bring it into the top 40 of sellers on the site.

That’s crazy! I’m just a pianist… I was once too scared to even ask my boyfriend to choke me!! I know what it takes now, and for my experience anyway — it takes insane consistency to gain a following.

I remember 8 years ago finding this site, making a channel on MeetFighters, and it took 4 years before I was willing to post my first video on WatchFighters. It was scary to meet anyone, and I just wanted to see what was out there. And now I’ve grown so much!

I think the dedication it takes to build a popular channel is absolutely an accomplishment. I feel just as proud of this side of my life as I do the classically-trained musician side of me. But in general I agree with what you said, OsakaRob. 🥰

And thanks so much for the shoutout, edscissors! You’ve always been easy to talk to, and you seem to genuinely care about things.

700+ videos ... but you still take the trouble to respond, personally, to comments/messages. Thank you!

The dictionary definition of fame is “the state of being known or talked about by many people, especially on account of noble achievements.”

By that definition, I agree that some guys who have participated in content creation are indeed “famous” - in that their names/images are recognizable to others on either MF or WF.

But I’m not sure that recording a match on an iPhone or doing a live show counts as a noble achievement. 🤣 Though I guess it’s in the eye of the beholder.

It does take some courage to “put it all out there”. So maybe indeed you are right: there are “famous” wrestlers in this little world. The the accomplishment is debatable I think.

700 videos? Quite an achievement, surely? Famous, even?

SADomination - 1908 videos uploaded to WF. And yet they still chat with me! Actually, I count them as friends.

Famous - but not inaccessible.

I have nothing but respect for "famous people" here in our strange, odd community who, like "Feroce" - and others (videte sopra) who take such trouble to respond to "the little guy".
