Despite choking to KO being dangerous as Chris wrestling and others have noted, it continues to be a widespread practice. A lot of this is due to curiosity, but there is a hard core of those with a compulsive driven need for it, despite the risks involved. Many of these may be so-called agonopjilics, who derive sexual satisfaction from fight scenarios of various kinds Googles defines agonophilia as: "Agonophilia is a form of paraphilia or sexual interest characterized by sexual arousal derived from acts of struggling, fighting, or witnessing combat sports. It often involves a scenario where a person finds pleasure in resisting or overpowering a partner, or watching others do so."
Mine started in watching TV wrestling during my puberty when I was around 12 years old. I was sexually around by sleeperholds, and started masturbating to imagined scenes. This continued and led to my asking guys I met at gyms when I started working out to do it to me. It may sound surprising but I was able to find a number of them over the years. Every time it would, be painful and scary, but I would always return. My last was with a bodybuilder who did multiple partial sleepers until a final KO. I was so bad off after that I couldn''t stand up and was disoriented for a time. I was looking for a rematch after that when I underwent surgery and was advised against it. But my obsession continued. For several years now I've been contemplating a sleeper match with a 300+ guy who says he has put guys to sleep over 100 times. His descriptions of how he does it have only made it hotter for me. He has offered a handful of times to do it, but I have always backed off. Now her has grown wary of me for good reason,

An example of what it's like happened not too long ago. I was working out on a machine at the gym, and this high school age guy with a big chest was working out next to me. To my amazement, he could do almost the full stack. Some time past and he was showing off his bicep to someone. I remember it was round and hard, and immediately I felt the heat, thinking how great it would be if he had a sleeper match with me. He saw I was looking at him, and came up to me and asked if he could try a side head lock on me, like he was experiencing the heat too. I declined, but not long after that I saw him exchanging headlocks with someone else there. I was so hot I could hardly control myself. He again came up to me again and asked if I wanted to try it too. I would have except I didn't want to do it in front of so many people. Now I don't know where he's gone,

A friend choked me last time and strangled me for 5 more seconds - when I woke up, I - I'm already 71 - didn't feel really well. I was dizzy and it took me 20 minutes to get somewhat fit again. What I want to say with this: Please no exaggerated games - choking out is okay, but then immediately skip it!

Thanks for posting, ChrisWrestling and TxWrestle. Speaking for myself, it's really valuable to have your informed opinions.

It's very easy to get carried away on this site. But speaking as someone who had a great wrestling meet turn into an urgent care visit (nothing to do with the current topic, just a true accident), medical intervention takes all the joy and fun out of a meet.

In the case of choke and strangle, please heed the warnings of the professionals on this site.

Speaking as a former EMT-B, BJJ practitioner, guy who has done extensive research on choke safety/risks, and long term member of the leather community who doesn't kink shame let me be very clear here: this is ridiculously unsafe. I have put out more people than I can count but someone goes out you let go, period! The person getting choked out isn't taking all the risk either, if you die your play partner goes to jail.

So, a few things happen here: 1) the choke reduces blood flow out of the head first, this increases cranial pressure and puts stress on the veins and arteries increasing risk of an aneurysm, 2) blood flow into the brain is reduced if not stopped 3) the brain signals to the lungs and heart that it needs increased circulation which increases heart rate and blood pressure but this can trigger arterial fibrillation meaning that rather than beating normally your heart can go into electrical spasm which stops if from being able to pump blood effectively. This is why we use defibrillators, they stop the heart by shocking it hoping it goes back into a normal rhythm, if the heart stops entirely CPR is needed which has roughly a 10% success rate. Really you are just buying time for the EMTs to arrive. 4) the body redirects blood flow away from the stomach and other less necessary organs which can lead to vomiting. Nothing like being unconscious and drowning in your own bile. 4) the increased cranial pressure can damage the eyes leading to ocular injury such as retinal tears and/or blindness. 5) compression of the blood vessels in the neck can lead to dissection. 6) if there is a clot or plaque build up chokes can dislodge these causing a stroke.

When you get choked you start losing brain cells rather quickly, 30 seconds after ko is actually pretty significant and this damage is cumulative and increases the risk each time you do it. Likewise the risk of death increases each time you do it.

As for the feelings one gets from getting choked out, your brain doesn't know the difference between 5 seconds or 30, you literally turn it off and what you feel is the lights going out and coming back on, the space in the middle doesn't change the experience.

So while I am not going to tell you don't do this kind of edge play, please understand that pushing it like this either through multiple KOs or long/deep ko's goes from being a risky kink to damn near suicidal and you are risking not only your life but the freedom (and conscience) of your play partner. I have lost people I have tried to save from medical emergencies before and that guilt stays with you. You run through every mistake you made over and over again for years and that's without having choked the victim. Can you imagine trying to live with yourself after you have choked someone out for too long and they died? That is what you are asking others to do to you and frankly I would never play with someone who IS willing to do that because they don't care about your safety.

I was trained as an EMT way back in the day. The purpose for replying in thread rather than as a PM is posts like this encourage others and normalizes extremely risky behaviors. I know we PM'd but I wanted to make sure this was said here. There are several guys on here who are active medical professionals but you don't have to be one to play, just play safer.

30 seconds past KO is starting to get into seriously dangerous territory. It may feel awesome, but it can have very deleterious long term effects. Be careful.

I want to point out that this guy is a 2nd degree blackbelt in BJJ. I'm a blue belt. Two legit grapplers are saying this is too risky, maybe you should listen.

I can't seem to find any chokers into deep chokes nearby. Im hoping this post would help me connect to anyone interested in talking and potentially meeting me.
The farthest ive been choked was 30 seconds past ko. I didn't get to record it, but I remember how amazing it was waking up afterwards. I have craved that feeling ever since.
Anyone reading this who would be interested in talking, feel free to message me :)
I do prefer muscley guys. It makes the choke feel amazing, and waking up in a muscley guys arms afterwards would be so nice.
