Gegen catchbear1 hatte ich etwas bessere Möglichkeiten als ich mich vorgestellt hatte. Er war der erste Gegner von meheren auf diesem verlängerten Berliner Wochenende. Etwas schwerer als ich, aber nicht viel, und auch ein bisschen kürzer. Falls ich unter ihn geraten sollte, könnte ich damit rechnen dass ich vorläufig nicht frei kommen würde. Aber der zeigte sich nicht als sehr ausdauernd, so ich sollte einfach der Motor laufen lassen, und wenn ich eine Öffnung sah sollte ich zuschlagen. Und dann könnte ich die Situation zu meinen Vorteil nutzen um das Match für mich zu entscheiden. So war für mich dieser Kampf mehr taktischer Natur. Zum Schluss habe ich ihn in ein Headscissor gefangen, und das wurde das Ende von ihm. Aber jetzt ist er vorbereitet, so ich denke nicht dass der nächste Match mit ihn so einfach wird! Ich freue mich jetzt schon darauf.

What can I say? He's quite the physical specimen and a very charming guy on top of it.

After chalking up a quick first submission, I thought we might be fairly even. I was very mistaken. I don't think he likes to lose and he showed that over and over. He's strong as hell and not afraid to really lay it on in a match.

More than wrestling, I had a really wonderful time with him and can't wait to meet again. Highest recommendations!

Couldn't have picked a better guy for my first match up. DenverWrestler is one of the nicest and most patient guys you could meet. He's an extremely experienced wrestler, who brought the match down to my level so we could just have a great time on the mats. And still took the time to demonstrate some holds. Great guy, great host. If you are new to this site, and have an opportunity to meet up with DenverWrestler, take it!

I had a brief grapple with Big Ape at Pippa's. It was agreed that it would be a non-competitive, gentle grapple but once he got on top of me I just couldn't shift him. He's stronger and more determined than I though. It was a good session.

Kykrantoad is an awesome guy... We had two great matches on two consecutive evenings. He is a very tough, strong and challenging opponent but was also very respectful and friendly. I have two great workouts with him and I could feel the soreness of his strong punches and wrestling holds for several days afterwards. I very highly recommend Kykrantoad to anyone who is interested in wrestling a strong and skilled wrestler!
