I had a fun time wrestling PHXxPlant. He has a nice wrestler body and even though he is a beginner he is game for almost everything. He put up with a lot of punishment and even dished it out.

Wrestle him if you get a chance!

I wrestled Jim twice, when I was in my early 20s and weighed about 150lbs. It was intimidating meeting a big, strong, experienced guy but I needn't have worried. Despite the size difference we both had lots of fun and I can certainly recommend him as a worthwhile bigger opponent, especially if you're a smaller guy looking to take on a bigger one :-)

Met this guy at a group at Pippas on my second day. With his 'just beginning' tale I suggested a grapple to ease my aches and help him relax. Oh the foolishness of going in blind! From the outset he was enthusiastic and determined. We rolled and pinned as I tried to overcome his impressive strength. He knows his stuff and got it on a couple of times. A great guy to roll with and good to chat with after.

Definite recommendation from me.

PS - doing my research post match (doh!) I see he has recommendations going back well before my first forays onto the mats! Lol

I met up with stud for the first time, and we had a GREAT promission match! He is quite strong and very durable. I look forward to many more matches.
