We'd been chatting for awhile, so when we were finally able to meet I was excited. Incredibly nice off the mats, and greatly skilled on them, he could have easily gotten more taps out of me than he did (and he got several!) he was nice enough to go at my pace, and able to take a lot of punishment once I got the upper hand. All in all it was a blast, and I can't wait for the rematch!

Met this Geordie Hardman yesterday for a long, gruelling but very enjoyable scrap. I did my best and fought him as hard as I could but he came out on top and made me submit a few times. He is strong, tough and formidable on the mat but a champion canny bloke off it!
2.5.17- After some training this last year I faced this Geordie bruiser again yesterday. He hasn't softened any. Hard and determined. But I had more strategy this time and in round one kept my defence up until I finally got on top and after much resistance made him give. After our last session that sub made me feel great but was a bit of a surprise for him. Round two went on for ever with neither giving way. I think we have both improved in stamina levels. But he finally got the equalising sub. Time ran out for us unfortunately. But we now need to have the deciding round. He is not happy about this wee scot getting that first sub and wants to put me down. Whereas I just wanna prove I'm getting better and better and can take the big tyneside brute! Update soon I hope.

Was great finally to meet this guy. He has been hitting the gym hard and it certainly shows. He has a very good shape and his muscles are strong and defined. He is a good wrestler with very powerful legs - even though he said they weren't at 100% at moment. Added to this he is a super friendly guy and great fun to be with.

I and my wife where fighting with PJ1 and his partner Rose. It was very friendly and interesting meeting. PJ1 is strong and very like pro wrestling. Rose very like fighting and fight for her own pleasure and win. Thank you very much and we hope we can meet in future again.

5/4/17: After many years of traveling between NJ and Cape Cod, I finally made the side trip to Taunton to meet and wrestle with this guy. First, let me say. He is anything but average - he is well above average. A fine host, great conversationalist, and fun wrestler. Despite his recovery from injury, he put spirit and quite a few sharp moves on me and showed me the power of his legs several ways and many times. I was able to turn the tables on him a few times, but I am sure that is only because he went easy on me. Bottom line, I cannot say enough good things about Joe - I was kinda of in awe of being able to wrestle such a celebrity of our wrestling world.
