Good meet at Barnet with Pete. We had an even match with plenty of verbals. It was a race as to who could get the first armlock. Pete is a bit of a cyclist so watch out for his scissors!! And we had a most convivial après-match tincture at Ye Olde Mitre in Barnet High Street.

I am extremely happy with my meet-up with Dag. The trip to the lost corner of the world was definitely worth the travel. I was amazed at how strong Dag is especially when we tested our strengths. I have never met anyone as strong as him and his strength often overpowered me. He is very fit and muscly and is very good with freestyle wrestling. He would easily improved his submission techniques given he has more exposure to submission matches. Definitely one of my best encounters so far.

It is the first time a non-Malaysian visited me in this lost corner of the world. And Jagoan's visit went far beyond all my expectations. This guy has an incredible physique and is an extremely nice person. Unfortunately I had not much to offer in exchange. It was one of these occasions when I wonder why I am so helpless in wrestling. Jagoan sweat probably more because of the high humidity than my limited submission technics. I also appreciated Jagoan's way to control his strength. For me it was one of the best encounters I ever had on this site. I wish Jagoan lived in Malaysia.

Had a great time wrestling with my new buddy and look forward to meeting with him again. He was very friendly and put up good opposition and enjoyed talking with him before and after the match. Highly recommend him. Great experience. Just wish I had more time

Man this guy is a beast!! Had the pleasure of meeting wrestleinsocks after messaging for awhile. He was on me almost the whole time and really knew how to use weight and skill to his advantage. I have to say I had a blast though! He is tough but never was out to hurt anyone. And very nice to talk to off the mats. Highly recommend him!

He is now my jujitsu "sensei" and like a magician on the mat! No way I could tap him out..even though I got some advantage.... his amazing story encourages me to next step!! Can't wait for next time!!

Devilboy made the effort (or summoned the courage) after a tough day at work plus overtime to make it over for submission wrestling.
Tough, strong and with some good skill he got a submission off me with combined scissors and sleeper.
I'll leave it to DJ to state what the score was but it was a decent scrap though shorter than we hoped.
If you want straightforward submissions grappling that can be tough and rough then this is the dude to take on. Be expected to take some punishment and only challenge if you can take a mauling as well as dish it out.

Good ruck with this evenly matched opponent. Great guy on and off the mat. Well recommended! Watch out for arm locks, but is a sucker for scissors! Enjoyed every minute of our 1-1 in Barnet.
Had a good chat and beer afterwards.
