04/07/2015: Great to finally get a proper match in with Tanker after an enjoyable but very brief taster last year. And as it was in the ring at Pippa's as part of the Grapevine meet he was able to show off his pro skills and his mean heel persona, working me on the ropes and throwing this middleweight around a bit. Which obviously I loved! It is just a pro persona though, he's a nice guy really, wrestles very safely and sanely and is accommodating of those of us whose wrestling tastes run rather to submission, letting me try my best on him in some ground work---but to no avail! Looking forward to a longer round 3.
14/11/2015: Back in the ring at Pippa's with Tanker at John's meet. It's such a ball to wrestle this guy, he's super strong and knows how to give a middleweight lad like me a good working over on the ropes and on the canvas. Completely safe and just for fun though, he's a totally lovely friendly bloke and it's great to be getting some regular ring time with him.

Was the second time we met after about 7 or so years. He hosted and was very welcoming, even supplying lunch at "half time". Due to the limited space, we could only trade moves and the time flew by, resulting in an enjoyable day of wrestling manoeuvres.

Nice friendly guy, who despite having some misgivings, bravely stepped into the ring with me (Can't think why, am such a nice cuddly Teddy bear)!!
He is a strong fit wrestler with good defence ( does not like to submit) we had a n enjoyable pro style match.

Known Big Ape a few years nice friendly guy, until saturday not wrestled him for a few years Despite having some back troubles he is a a good skilled wrestler & we had a enjoyable & competitive fight. He is safe & sane & good company

A very interesting wrestler who likes both playful and hard matches. He is definitely strong and in shape and has obvioulsy learned some bjj basics at the gym so you should never underestimate his performance on mats. Very quick and competitive .We know we have to repeat the challenge sooner or later.
Highly recommended.

An awesome surprise meeting this Canadian in DC. Incredible stanima and strenght for his age and size, you should never underestimate this guy with lots of experience under his belt. Acomplished wrestler but for sure much better bóxer i was honored to wrestle him and watch some of his boxing sparrings while in DC.

If you like boxing he is your guy!!!
