Recommendations

So this guy promised to write a nice recommendation for me. So here's mine for him. ;)
We met during my stay in SF. He didn't have much experience so I was prepared for anything. It turned out actually pretty great. D.S. is a trained, fit, friendly, and smart guy who really loves wrestling. We met for a coffee, had a training session, and some long, intense matches at the end. He moves well, has balance, and is strong so I petty much forgot he was a beginner and just had fun rolling with him. Very strongly recommended for anyone who likes a safe, fun and competitive submission match. I hope we meet again!

What can I say...one of my best matches to date. An evenly fought, sweaty encounter with plenty of back and forth action...my favourite type of match. Speedowrestle is fit and can both take and dish out the punishment. I really don't know where the time went! Off the mats, a great guy to chat with...and a warm personality. Strongly recommended.

I'm very slow with recommendations... Met during his trip to Glasgow in March this year. Great host and brilliant wrestler. He tied me in knots during submission rounds, and then again in more knots with some pro holds. Incredibly enjoyable match and a really lovely guy to chat too. Total geek, which was great because he could then help me with gift ideas for my geeky partner! Thanks for a fun match buddy, hope to meet up again soon!

Met when he visited Glasgow previously after months of chatting. Very cocky but can back it up with his skill. I had no chance, but really enjoyed our match. Not only did I have a great wrestle with him, but I've made a very good friend out of it. Really looking forward to his next trip to the UK for more matches and a few beers. Highly recommended.

Tabu79 is a good playful fighter and I had the pleasure to meet him a couple of times so far. I can recommend him to anyone who comes in his proximity.

I had a great semi-comp wrestling session with Small Powerhouse this morning, fairly full on for nearly 90 minutes! SPH was a great host, friendly guy, a very strong and experienced wrestler! Plenty of room to wrestle on mats in SPH's front room + refreshments and a chance to shower afterwards. It was a very competitive which built and built and got better and better, we ended up wrestling nude. SPH was a great opponent and highly recommended! (December 2014).

Another great semi-comp wrestling session with Small Powerhouse this morning, this time at his matted room where there was plenty of space to wrestle! We both worked up a good sweat during this punishing session, a great opponent on and off the mats! Some nude wrestling too, looking forward to our next match!

Oh, Matthias, what can I say? This match was just plain superb. Not only did we have an awesome wrestling chemistry, but also a great number of conversations which made me feel like I've known him for quite some time. Matt was courteous, warm, and very thoughtful. It was wonderful to get to know him both as a person and a wrestler. My background in wrestling is very limited, and with the size difference (I'm smaller and lighter), I was not sure how this match is gonna progress. Matthias, however, was able to maintain a perfect balance between showing me the ropes and keeping everything very competitive. Throughout, I felt safe but equally challenged. He is a tough guy and definitely knows what he is doing. We wrestled until exhaustion and had a blast. Thanks to him, I decided to become more involved in the wrestling scene and now I look forward to his next visit to the Bay Area. :-)

Greg was my first gutpunch opponent back in 2001. A hard hitter and can take a lot! Our sessions were usually hours long back and forth. Definitely miss having our regular matches

I had the pleasure to meet Raufmaniac76 who is strong and fast. You should beware of some good sub holds which will get you into trouble. Besides the wrestling he is very kind and easygoing person. So if you have the chance try and meet him.

Off the mats, Aspen is a nice friendly and easy going fella. But do not make the foolish mistake of thinking him to be that on the mats as well...
This guy's the total package, hes strong, persistent, fast to learn and adjust and loves winning. I had a blast of a time fighting him!
If you pass in this powerful fighter's neighborhood make sure you fight him!
