Recommendations

I met this charming guy at an open event at Pippas today.
He is a strong, enthusiastic defensive wrestler and with a bit more experience and aggression he will make a good offensive wrestler too. A thoroughly decent chap off the mats I recommend you meet him.

Experienced judoka and submission grappler, strong, tough, excellent technical skills. Great teacher and good guy to roll with. Awesome guy on and off the mat.

What a great fun guy. He knows how to deliver a tombstone and classic piledriver as well as the them. Definitely highly recommended for a fun pro match.

Tanker is the most impressive opponent I've met.
Tall, bigger than me with big muscles, incredible number of past opponents on his profile. I can admit I was a bit afraid.
Actually, I met a really nice guy, with a great sense of humor.
In front of him, I felt so small before the fight !
I had the chance to apply him some holds to the ground but it was more difficult standing.
Think carefully before facing him at his "sumo" game. It's funny but he is so strong !

I met French Novice through Alain (AD Idf) at Alain's matrons south of Paris.
The so called French "novice" is a tall well built guy. Very friendly and good sense of humour. But I am sorry to say not very truthful!
When we met up I was told a tragic tale of a poor defenceless little Corsican garcon, who begged me to go easy on him, as he was not very skilled, was always being beaten by other wrestlers I was nearly in tears.
In fact thanks to Alain's expert coaching (They meet every week to wrestle & had an extra session on Wednesday in preparation for me) he has acquired some very impressive groundwork skills, allied with his natural strength, speed & agility makes him a formidable submission wrestler. Starting from the ground (a weak spot of mine.) He easily got the better of me. From a standing position I generally got the upper hand but it was close run thing.
He is great fun, totally recommend. But I think it's time for a name change!

Great guy, tough opponent

For a mackem, Gary (mackemsub) is a good bloke. Had a good workout with him at Monica's new wrestling ring in Walthamstow today. He is definitely to be recocmmended but watch out for those powerful legs. I am looking forward to the next match.

What I can say about this gent of a wrestler? Good solid guy who can take a working over... after a few months of trash talking by texts and email, we finally managed to meet up and wrestle.. albeit in a small hotel room..
he is a great guy to wrestle and with more experience and coaching, he will a force to reckon with on the mats ... wholeheartedly recommend him to any one

Thank you for traveling to Budapest to meet me and wrestling me even though I was injured at the time and couldn't really accomplish everything we set out to do. Also appreciate that you took care not to make my existing injury any worse. You were a true gentleman!

Gutpuncher33 was a blast to wrestle with! Power moves and stamina made for an excellent time. I truly recommend you check him out! The best part of all, he is a great guy!
