Had a great submission grapple with Torrnado on the mats at Pippa's as part of the Grapevine meet. He's a strong, fast and feisty guy in great shape and it was only my extra bulk that kept me out of trouble against him. If we were closer in size I'd have been toast! He wrestles safely and sanely and is highly recommended. Looking forward to a rematch against him in London!

At the International Wrestler's Camp in Lindow we had a good chance to meet a variety of other wrestlers. One of them was lerderraufer, who became my training partner for Sunday. Lerderraufer was a bit lighter than me, but he seemed to have more experience, so this way we were pretty even in the wrestle. It was good to meet this bunch of wrestlers in the camp, and lerderraufer was no exception. For being on equal terms I could have a good match and build a sweat with him, which we both were happy about. Off the mat he was also a friendly chap which I was happy to share a beer with after our match. With a bit of luck we will meet again at next year's wrestling camp!

Pound for pound one of the strongest men on this site. He went out of his way to make a meet happen, which I really appreciate. A genuinely great man...I had more fun than I should be allowed to have.

Craig gave me a tough, enjoyable wrestle on the mats at Pippas this afternoon. It was a hot day and we both worked up quite a sweat. There was no way I could 'squash' this strong guy, but I enjoyed trying! He's nice guy off the mats too and I'd recommend him to anyone.
