Gary introduced me to wrestling a few months back & we have had a few meetings since. I’m an enthusiastic novice and he a very experienced and clearly very well respected Meetfighters member. He has been a brilliant mentor and has been very patient in showing me moves & holds to try out. Patience personified. This all culminated in me attending my first group meet in Manchester last weekend where I was made very welcome largely thanks to his standing in the MF community. I count him as a close friend now but I look forward to eventually putting him in his place on the mats!! You could not wish to meet a nicer bloke off them though.

Tag match update

Long anticipated tag match against Docklands Bear & Nastyboy with Gary as my partner. Well worth the wait. As an inexperienced wrestler it was great to pit my wits against 2 very skilled & tough opponents with Gary keeping me on track and probably out of harms way!! I’d met Nastyboy before and knew what to expect. Docklands was every bit as good as I’d been told and a great lad before during and after the bout. I think honours were just about even. And all four of us were definitely satisfied with our afternoon’s efforts. Thank you Gary for your reassuring presence throughout. Here’s to the rematch & soon!

Great time meeting with no problems. We had a good exchange of gut punches. Great guy and fighter highly recommended. Looking forward to another match.

Latinchub is a very strong guy with great technical skills. Could not do much against him. He is also a nice guy and polite outside matches. Hope to see him again

iaaan is hands down one of the most talented fighters on MeetFighters Korea. Strong, fast, and super skilled — he knows exactly what he's doing on the mats. You can feel his experience and focus from the first lock-up. Every round with him is intense, technical, and a real test of your limits. If you get the chance to face him, go for it. Totally recommended — this guy is the real deal.

Had a great match with Tim759405 — he's a brave beginner who's not afraid to jump in and give it his all. He’s got the right attitude, plenty of determination, and a solid foundation to build on. With more experience, he's definitely going to become a tough opponent. Respectful, eager to learn, and fun to wrestle — highly recommended for anyone who enjoys helping newer fighters grow in the sport.

I was lucky enough to have a match against stuttgart grappling at the early stage of my meetfighter experiences. Understanding my circumstances, he generally went easy on me and provided good instructions. At the same time, he seriously worked me out and made me tap several times.

If you look for an opponent both powerful and skillful, he is the right answer. Highly recommendable

Meeting up with Pedro was very easy. He is a great guy, easy going and fun to talk.
On the mats he's very tough and a big fan of scissors. Believe me when I say he can take a lot of scissors.
Overall I really enjoyed meeting and would recommend him to everyone 😊

Great guy, super friendly. We talked for years so we were bound to meet up! He had no problem making effort to meet while I was visiting. He's got a hard body and he's not afraid to use it. We had a hot match that we taped and he plays very safely in a way to make you comfortable. Definitely a great guy to have a hot match with and eat after. Open to many kinks that you might have.

il assimile vite et j avoue que je me suis régalé au bearhug car il est vraiment fort et tiens largement les rapports de force .
nous avons fini par un petit combat ou j ai pu apprécier sa volonté de bien faire et sa puissance.
En dehors du tapis , nous avons échangé sur des thèmes en commun et j ai pu apprécier ses connaissances et sa culture

Finally got my shot at this guy and it was an absolute blast. Tough, scrappy, and always up for the challenge but I kept control, dished out the squeezes, and racked up the subs. He’s a great sport and made the whole match a ton of fun. Definitely recommend locking up with him if you get the chance.
