I had the pleasure of meeting Jim today. First, I appreciate that Jim made it so easy to meet, driving to accommodate my busy schedule. That aside, this man is just plain strong, not just strong for his age. Neither of us are very skilled wrestlers, but we had a great time exchanging holds and testing each other’s strength (he is stronger!). We had a great time. And he is a pleasure to talk with - a very interesting man. I hope to meet Jim again. If you have the chance, give Jim a roll. You won’t regret it!

CRX67 is, as the saying goes, all that and a bag of chips! He is such a friendly guy and one fun wrestler! I am very happy that we were able to make this match happen. He looks great and he wrestles well.
I also had a fun time teaching him a few tricks.
That being said, if anyone gets an opportunity to wrestle do yourself a favor and don’t miss it!

Definitely look this man up if you're in East Tennessee. Fantastic wrestler and host! He has by far the best facility I have seen including a ring, cage, and 16'X16' mat.

If you get a chance to wrestle Regular Guy, aka "Downtown," I would highly recommend it. He is a super guy with a personality as strong as his body. We had a lot of give and take, and testing each other's strength. Although he is younger, I think I held my own. Plus, I could use a trick or two that Pennsypinner taught me to get the upper hand. 😎 One caution: as you can tell from his photos, he is one hairy guy, so you might end up with a face full of fur now and then. But that is part of the fun. I hope I will have the opportunity to wrestle him again. I don't think we have entirely explored our limits yet!

We met up for a match on Monday. He was easy to set a match up with he was on time and we had a blast. He is strong and with a little bit more training he’s gonna be a forced to reckon with. You can’t meet a nicer guy And I look forward to the next time we can get together for a rematch.

In life, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. And sometimes you get your ass kicked.

On my cross-country wrestling road trip, I knew going in that opponent #26 – the awesome awesomeness that is EuroAsianinLA – would be formidable. Not just because he had an inch and twenty-five pounds on me. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Mr. Angel Face With The Perfect Hair, so kind and genteel, is pure power. Now that's the ***ing understatement of the year.

So I usually like to start with exchanging holds. With the air of that cool friend from high school all grown up, this charismatic, modest guy told me he was "still learning" and picked up technique by "watching YouTube videos". Yeah. Right! LOL. With a smile on his face, EuroAsianinLA shook off my crucifix, quickly buckled my wrists into my head and chest-smothered me for a solid three minutes. That set the tone. Now it was time to run the gauntlet. He said he was skipping the gym for our meet up, and it was leg day. Apparently, every day is leg day. Cue the breath-crushing scissors, no angle left untapped. Oh, man, I lost count of the submissions. Through it all, the checkins were the best:

"You having fun?"
"Yes! You happy?"
"Yes."

And then, eyes always locked, I'd launch at him in gonna-get-you-####er retaliation. He'd smile even wider and keep laying down the hurt. In the end, the whole match felt like a vision quest where halfway through someone forgot to mention you already made the tribe. On this journey, there were never any awkward, impersonal, random matches. (I sensed we both steer clear of those.) No, every opponent seemingly aligned to teach me something. From EuroAsianinLA, I learned a lot.

Pleasure to had a match with tional. Alghouth he was tall and slim, his strength and stamina were pretty good. On the mat, he was a indomitable fighter with a rock and roll style. When he went off the mat, he turned into a intelligent and traditional man. The fighting moment was interesting, sweaty and tough, safe and sane. Expect to have a rematch with him, recommended.

He is competitive and strong for sure. He knows how to wrestle even though he says he doesn’t haha. Probably one of the best opponents I’ve had.
Also he is friendly, kind , and intelligent. After the match, we got to know each other a little more.

I met Dave (Tanker) in Manchester. As I had not wrestled for a while I was a little bit nervous and anxious about it, but I need'nt have been as Dave put my mind at rest immediately and calmed my first fight nerves right down.
Once in the venue and changed for battle the face off began, and the friendly, kind chap who calmed my nerves became a formidable opponent, quite intimidating and I realised I had a challenge on my hands here. Locking up was the wake up call that here is a very experienced wrestler who knows what he is doing and has the strength and stamina to match. Although stalemate with tests of strength he soon applied a mean bearhug and various locks and holds that I found difficult to get out of, keeping me on my toes and a reminder this man ain't no rookie but a very serious and experienced wrestler.
In-between rounds and time out the conversation flowed and hearing of his experiences of previous matches and opponents I fully understand why he is such a good wrestler and respected within the community.
Apart from a mean bearhug watch out for the vice like body scissors too, enough to make anyone tap. His skills as a wrestler are second to none and I would recommend him to anyone whether a beginner or experienced as they would be guaranteed a great bout.
I made a new friend that day and a great wrestler who I would face off with again in a heartbeat. My only regret is that after my years previously on Meetfighters I never locked up with Dave sooner, but that is a great excuse for more matches and make up for lost time.
I cannot recommend this gentleman highly enough. I'm looking forward to more great bouts with him in the future. A great bloke , brilliant wrestler, and an absolute pleasure to have met him.
