One half of my bear cub beatdown, this stellar gent piloted three hours in the rain for our long-awaited DC match. Whereas I encouraged his partner Cubby that – yes – he could REALLY go to town on a couple of holds, wrestlecub didn't need any extra assurances. Whew (I mean WOOF). Must've been that drive! ;)

Both traded in throughout on an extended Saturday evening assault. When it was wrestlecub's turn, packing a black speedo, he mocked my black w/white stripes gear. (See, the plan was that at some point, we would turn on Cubby's stars and bars.) The view on the mat, crushed between his thighs and staring out at his crossed calves: priceless. The partial view in that RNC, my face wedged between his huge forearm and even more massive bicep: (say it with me) priceless. That obstructed view, pressed between floor and fuzzy-muscled torso with (I think? somehow? I couldn't see) his foot on my face: well, I can set a price on that. We'll negotiate.

Speaking of negotiate, with sparks and sweaty flying, wrestlecub tested a relatively new camel clutch variation. Despite extended beatings between the two, I was able to hold out, escaping submissions on Boston crabs and tandem bear hugs/elevated dragon sleepers. He cranked on the camel, bending and taking my left arm up then back by the elbow. When wrestlecub said he couldn't hold the hold for too much longer, I – in the hold – asked him if he wanted to submit. :) Some of the biggest laughs I've enjoyed have been in wrestling matches. But that moment had the three of us on our stomachs, smiling wide and yucking for a happy while.

He switched out to silvery-lustered white trunks with white leggings. Let's just say I got a real good up-close feel of both fabrics. Grr. Nothing quite like enduring a prolonged side headscissors from one while you're also getting body scissored by the other. Or ab-clawed. Or hamstrings spread. Whew.

Looking forward to rolling with this guy down the road – hopefully on their home turf/ring.

For someone who says he's "not strong" he packs a huge punch. He gave my navel a good beating for the time we met. Definitely cant wait to meet next time he's in town

I had the chance to wrestle this stud and what an amazing match it was. This guy is a beast and knows a ton of moves; however he was also very respectful and friendly.I highly recommend Gures if you want a tough opponent that can take punishment as well as dish it out.
