I had a really good meetup with CrageousGP that included wrestling and gut punching. He is new in the former but experienced in the latter and enjoyed taking a barrage of body punches from him as it brought me back to my boxing days. I have some experience in gut punching and our encounter definitely makes me want to gain more going forward. Good person who went out of his way to meet up with me.

Mit einer Portion Ehrgeiz, aber auch ordentlich Selbstironie haben wir bei mir geschaut, was der andere so drauf hat. Nun.... ich hätte mich nicht auf's Armdrücken mit dem Hessen einlassen sollen.... konnte es aber anderweitig auf der Matte wieder ausgleichen. Ich konnte ein paar Fixierungen setzen und ihm schön bei Befreiungsversuchen zappeln sehen... abklopfen wollte er aber ums verrecken nicht! Das es Spaß gemacht hat, brauche ich wohl kaum nochmal erwähnen. Wir sind nach Stunden zufrieden und ausgelaugt auseinander gegangen. Klasse, dass es mit kurzem Vorlauf schon nach wenigen Tagen mit dem Treffen geklappt hat. Beim nächsten Armdrücken werde ich mich nicht so einfach überrumpeln lassen.

Abcde est l’un de mes adversaires les plus gentils et attentifs. Malgré son gabarit, il peut vraiment vous surprendre avec des immobilisations inattendues : ses ciseaux sont absolument redoutables.

Très (très) communicatif, toujours respectueux, c’est un vrai plaisir de passer du temps avec lui.

After missing each other when I lived in Los Angeles, the stars aligned for Pliney and I to finally meet each other on Zackattacker’s mats during my trip to New Orleans for a hot oil match.

This match was well worth the wait though and I found out quickly why this stud is so popular on MF. This handsome heel knows how to work jobbers over in a methodical way that keeps them wrapped up and totally under his control. I couldn’t complain too much though since I was too busy enjoying the view most of the time. It also was a real treat when Pliney decided to go after his buddy Zack and I got to watch the full intensity of his brutal sleepers in action.

Off the mats, Pliney is a great guy and really laid back. So glad our schedules lined up while we were both in town. Highly recommend for a great time!

Pinfallwizard introduced Britpro(sort of) to me but the initiative impression I got is the competitiveness of a tricky fighter. this dude is of fleeting CoolDowns and would snatch victory at any cost. Highly recommend and prepare for his sinere flattery and trash talk.

cupidity23 contacted me ahead of one of my visits to London, and it turned out we had a mutually convenient slot, so we agreed to meet up. Communication ahead of our meeting was good, with a bit of banter thrown in. He turned up on time and we soon got down to business for a fun hour or so of wrestling, making allowances for the fact that we were using a hotel room. I got a couple of submissions out of him, he got a few out of me – as he says, we're quite evenly matched in terms of strength and skill. All very safe and sane. After our wrestle, we went for dinner, which was also very enjoyable. I hope we meet again.

PerfidusAnguis hat unser Treffen gestern schon passend beschrieben. Er ist ein angenehmer und fairer Gegner, der mir körperlich leicht überlegen war. Auf seiner wirklich sehr großen Mattenfläche haben wir uns mehrere Stunden ausgetobt mit Kaffee davor und danach sowie kleinem Imbiss. Auch die Aussicht aus seinem Appartement hoch über Hannover ist beeindruckend und trotz der Entfernung wieder eine Reise wert. Da wir beide als Rentner tagesfreizeit haben steht einer Wiederholung nichts im Wege.
