Had a great roll with Grappling4funDC. He is fit and strong, and regularly trains in BJJ, which is very evident in his skill level. Whilst somewhat frustrating, it was also great to see how he escaped from my holds, that often get others to tap. I did manage to get a few very satisfying taps from him.....after he resisted for a long time lol.....but he got many, many more taps from me! We wreslted for quite a long time and were both dripping with sweat afterwards.
Off the mats, Grappling is a super nice guy, very easy and interesting to talk to, and was a great host for this meet. I highly recommended meeting him if you are in or visiting DC, or if he is visiting your area. Dont miss the opportunity for a great roll.

This boy dared to challenge the great and powerful ROB, and paid dearly for it!!
Okay..... actually he's a cool guy, he's really fun to wrestle, he's strong and has decent skills. The skills didn't prevent him from getting choked, but they helped slow down the inevitable a little.
I will warn you that if you let him get you in a RNC, or a triangle - he wont let go - and its impossible to escape. So be prepared to suffer for a long time while trapped in his arms or legs.
I highly recommend and am looking forward to him returning for another round!!

Let me say first off that DenverWrestler is one of the most interesting and worldly travelled persons I had the privilege of meeting. His interest in wrestling and man on man experience was a highlight of our encounter. With Melbourne putting on one of its hotter days weather wise 🌞, it was a sweaty test of strength during the match. I think he also enjoyed being over the back of my shoulders at the end. Watch out for his Dragon-Sleeper which he's really fond of applying. DenverWrestler would have been such a strong 💪 body in his younger years who I would have had a lesser chance of success. 🤼♂️
I look forward to meeting him in the future on his home patch in his much loved Denver.

What else is there to say about DenverWrestler that hasn't been said before. We met for Rd.2 nearly 12 months to the day again with Melbourne putting on another glorious 🌞 warm day.
DW is organised and punctual as clockwork and we met up as agreed although DW was nursing a shoulder injury which hindered his movement. He did however manage to sneak in his signature move, dragon-sleeper. He really knows how to roll that hold out when required. A great afternoon was enjoyed with this intelligent guy swapping stories of recent travels. When DW recovers from his shoulder, don't pass up the opportunity to meet.
Look forward to meeting DW again one day soon.

Had a really fun meet with Lucassss for a few hours, and as others have said he is such a nice guy, easy to communicate with, fun in the match and an amazing body to match. Really recommend a match if you can!

Ein paar Kämpfe gehabt und jedes war spannend. Immer wieder hat es echt Spaß gemacht, Handschuhe anzuziehen und paar Runden zu boxen. Der Type hat sehr gute Ausdauer und kann paar gute Schläge liefern, wenn man seine Deckung vernachlässigt.

Had a great time rolling on the mats with Shortjock. This jobber is quite the stud and definitely makes you work for each submission. Unfortunately for him, I was more than willing to put in the work and took my time outmuscling him in hold after hold. Shortjock’s muscle feels great as he struggles helplessly against a bigger heel and he keeps fighting back even after he realizes the end result is just a tight sleeper. Definitely recommend for a fun time
