This guy is gorgeous, he hosted in Bologna and I had such a great time.

Lucario is a lovely and kind person, a big nerd and just a great person to spend time with. Very accommodating, he'll also show you the best places to eat in town.

anow to the fight: definitely underestimated him. 15kg difference but his arms are as big as mine... Never seen such biceps on a 75kg guy.

The matches were fairly balanced, the first rolls were very long and extremely intense. I understood why those biceps are so big: I felt the power of his holds a few times before I understood how to escape them, and a few times I got him locked but didn't manage to get him to tap... I paid for my inexperience and my lesser stamina.

However, I managed to submit him at last. I bet he remembers my grips and my muscles. And enjoyed them.

Can't say this was a win, rather a lesson learnt. After all this was my 3rd encounter and his 100th. I'll come to our next match better prepared. There'll be no chance for you to win anything, little Lucario.

on September 18, we met ion the Open mat at Bremen. From the start I felt safe with him, Damly is a gentle yet strong guy on the mat, careful with relative newbies like me and a pelasure to roll with. I cannot recommend him stong enough and hope for a rematch someday soon.

First of all, let it be said: this guy knows what he is doing on the mat. He is a regular powerhouse but always safe, in control and kind to his rolling partners. HELL YEAH he is intimidating in real life, but you couldn't ask for a better guy if you are looking for a fun roll with a little competition. He won't disappoint you. We had a short but intense match, I enjoyed it tremendously and can only hope for a rematch. 5 Star recommendation !!

It is rare to find a guy like him and get a good connection from the start. Wrestswim1 is a fun guy to roll with, but don't let his charms and his (sorry for that) elderly looks fool you, he can take it up with the best of them. I for my part can say I enjoyed the shrot yet intense roll for every second it lasted, we parted as friends and I hope to get a rematch soon.

DKnight and I had a good wrestling meet again. He's a strong man with a long background in freestyle and has no problem fighting on the ground. He is also a good friend and a stellar human being. We've been friends for decades now and it's a real treat to see him again. DKnight is completely reliable and considerate to everyone. I wish I got to see him more. Until the next time, my friend.

During a trip to Germany, I attended an open mat session in Bremen and met up with Judobremen, whom I had been in contact with a few weeks earlier. We got on the mats for a submission grappling fight.
The sparring was respectful yet intense, Judobremen put up a spirited fight, so we certainly worked up a sweat. It was all done in good spirits.
He is a very friendly and approachable guy, and I would be happy to meet him again.

FrenchySV is the complete package. Off the mat, he is easy on the eye, personable and engaging. On the mat, he is fit, strong and technical (and looks great in his M singlet lol). His focus on safety was greatly appreciated.

We had a great chat at the begining. He showed me the dos and donts, as well as some moves first, then we did some practice together. All of that got me very sweaty at the end so it was fun and informative. I will definitely meet up with FrenchySV again.
