I met Argetlam on a day it was 30 degrees in London, we had an insanely hot and sweaty wrestle for an hour and a half. Argetlam goes to the gym a lot and you can really tell - his biceps are huge and make quite the sight when he’s clamping round and trapping you in hold after hold. Safe to say he dominated the wrestle, I lost count of the number of times I had to tap. He gave me a few chances to put him in a hold and I was happy to get a couple taps from him.
Very reliable guy, easy to communicate with - would definitely recommend

It was a pleasure meeting and wrestling Joel. I made a fairly long drive to meet up with him and he was a gracious host. Joel is a stud. He is actually bigger in person (in a good way) compared to his pics. His biceps are huge. It was an extremely hot and humid day so we worked up a sweat (to put it mildly lol). Joel is very strong in the clench and has a good base, so he was difficult to take down. But I was able to use my strength and skill to dominate on the mats. We also had a fun time arm wrestling. I highly recommend Joel if you want a good scrap and I hope to make the drive down again to wrestle when the weather is cooler!

We'd been talking about meeting for some time, when on a whim, I booked a flight to New York. We met, and I'm so glad we did, what a guy.

Sadly due to space and other issues we never got the match we both wanted, but had a roll and it was great fun.

He is a great guy to hang out with, looks great in gear, and although taking it easy, you could feel his power and strength.

I am so looking forward to returning to New York and challenging him again. If you get the chance to meet him, take it - you won't regret it.

This guy is an absolute unit—pure power paired with real mat skill. From the second we locked up, I could tell I was in for a serious challenge. He doesn’t just wrestle with strength; he knows how to use it with precision. He can grind you down, control pace, and turn up the intensity exactly when he wants to. Although I got him in a few holds that reminded him I wasn’t there to be steamrolled.

He carries himself well—focused, sharp, respectful, and cool to hang with when the match ends. Doesn’t rely on ego or cheap shots—he lets his performance do the talking.

If you want a real test, someone who can push you and keep it fun, he's your man. Definitely not for beginners—this guy plays in the deep end.

The guy is full of enthusiasm. I beat him every time, but he always gives it his all, right down to his last ounce of strength. We had some great moves during the fight—it was intense. I definitely need another match day with him. He's a worthy opponent.

at the beginning of the match he was very strong and made me tap several times. after half the match until the end he ran out of energy and I was take the opportunity to control him. really an exciting match and ended in a draw. Off the match he is friendly and kind

It was such a pleasure to meet HeraldUK in Brooklyn this last week. He made the long trek across the pond and I’m so glad he did!

Like he mentioned, limited space made it difficult to do much wrestling, but I had such a blast trying on gear and rolling with him the amount we were able to. He looks strong, and he’s even stronger than he looks! Plus, you won’t find a nicer guy. I really hope to wrestle him again sometime, on one side of the Atlantic or the other!

Been chatting with Mainewrsl for some time and got the chance to finally lock up with him during a visit to Maine. What a great match: He is a good looking wrestler, toned and in good shape, strong and agile in his wrestling. We went at it in a sweaty match with a lot of give and take, all safe and sane and fun. Spent quite a bit of time afterwards talking and exploring the town. He is such a great dude: smart, communicative, friendly, and obviously caring. I feel like I made a good friend! Can't wait to get another go at him at our next round. He gets my highest recommendations if you ever get a chance to meet him!

The wrestler:

JohnnieG has a very good muscular frame. He has a kind and approachable demeanour, yet he is firm and clear in his thoughts, wants and limits in regards to wrestling. A very interesting person to have a conversation with. We spent some time chatting in different languages before our fight, setting our expectations. He prefers to be a jobber, and despite this he fights back hard, which made our match enjoyable.

The match involved a series of holds where I applied most of the things I’ve learned since I joined MF a few months ago. JohnnieG’s high tolerance to pain and the fact that he opposed resistance and fought back with strength, made the match fun for both, resulting in a hot and sweaty interaction.
