I was incredibly lucky to have this guy as my guide to the website. He seems to know absolutely everyone and everything, and his stories are just as amazing as the advice he gives. He’s deeply passionate about the community which is like a second family to him and he often hosts or travels long distances just to connect with new people.

He’ll take you to the best authentic Chinese restaurants, show you around the city, and of course, having lived all over the world, his English is excellent, better than mine for sure ahah
He’s super friendly and chatty, always putting others’ happiness before his own, sometimes to an extreme. So, please, be kind and considerate of his feelings too!

He’s not a big guy, so if you’re around 60kg (and if you are, do reach out, he’ll love that), you will have a competitive match. He’s also getting more and more experienced in the way of the heel if that’s your thing.
I had a clear size advantage, so I ended up winning fairly easily, but it wasn’t a walkover, and I was catching my breath more often than I’d like to admit.

I met up with the army half of Militarycouple for a roll. It took us a while to get to it as we have a lot in common and the conversation just kept on going. But eventually we got aggressive and traded some holds - and he's just as fun to tangle with as he is to chat with! Neither of us approached it with any ego, so it was all safe, sane, paced well, and walked away having learned a thing or two. Can't wait to lock up again!

After months of chatting with Army, as I call him, we finally met. He's a great guy to talk with, as well as roll with. He def knows his stuff! Due to time constraints, we didn't have as much time as we'd have liked. Round two is scheduled for Monday. If you have the chance to meet this very personable and skilled individual, do it!!

After a few postponements, Celtic Tiger and I finally met up. I've sort-of-boxed VERY sporadically over my life, and got a quick lesson from another guy on here, but this really was my first serious boxing lesson. Celtic was extremely patient and a good teacher, running me through the basics of footwork, pivoting, and each punch, and structuring the lesson so that one thing flowed logically into the next.

We finished up with some light sparring, where I proceeded to forget half of what he taught me. Fortunately for me, he didn't take advantage of my clumsiness too often, but I can no longer say I haven't been punched in the face since 1980! Looking forward to meeting up with him again.

After crossing paths a few times at wrestlefest mixers, NYC123 and I finally mixed it up on the mat.
He's super easy to plan with and great to banter with before, during, and after the match.

He came prepared with lots of gear and options to keep the action going. The big man obviously smoked me in arm wrestling without even trying, but everything else was a bit more competitive while still being safe and fun. NYC123 is super strong and knows how to use it to power out of holds and take control. Killer headlocks and Nelson's.

Cannot recommend this man highly enough and looking forward to more rounds myself!

I'm really glad RBWrestler reached out about a match when he was in the area because I had a great time! When I job I like the right mix of relentless assault and time for me to sell and he got that balance right for me . I also like a good mix between low blows and other moves and holds - and again he got that right. Everything we did was within the bounds of what we discussed and the pressure and intensity was also what we discussed. Overall a very respectful guy who's interested in making sure each opponent gets what they want out of a match and has a fun, hot time. Outside of our match he has been friendly, easy to talk and communicate with, and flexible when it came to scheduling. If you're a jobber and into pro, I definitely say go for it!

LawEnforcement is a friendly, chill person who I got to know more closely during a small hike a couple of weeks before our training session.

He enjoys learning and gives good resistance on the mat. Technique-wise, more of a beginner but with the right mindset. I’m looking forward to measuring up every now and then to feel his progress.

Joey invited me even though he was busy traveling to Japan. I did submission wrestling with him and was amazed by his technique. He is probably one of the strongest fighters I have ever faced. Please contact me again when you come to Japan.
