When liketowrestle touched down in Ontario and reached out for a match, I did not hesitate. He's a built and powerful man who's skill set . . . might be unparalleled! An avid lover of jiu jitsu, this powerhouse of a man took the time to not only wipe the mat with me, but show me some moves, too. His power is evident from his build, yet you really don't fully comprehend it until he pulls you around the mat, moving your muscled body any which way he chooses :) However, I felt totally safe with liketowrestle. He has nothing to prove and wants to have fun and ensure yours as well. Our match was followed by great conversation over dinner where he stayed. This dude is a genuine, no BS, good man. HIGHLY recommended :)

I’ve had a chance to wrestling with Tapout, and I can confidently say he’s one of the most skillful fighters I’ve ever met. His grappling and submission skills are on another level—he has an incredible ability to counter every move with precision and control.

Despite his expertise, he remains humble, always open to learning and sharing his knowledge. His passion and confidence in his craft are inspiring, pushing those around him to improve.

Training with him was an amazing experience, and motivated me to be better fighter or even joining bjj camp soon (i hope in the future). If you’re looking for a great training partner or mentor in grappling, Tapout is the guy.

Great opponent. Strong and skillful, our sweaty match is a great highlight of my day. Very polite and friendly. And the fact that we share the same fantasy about bearhug makes me look forward to meet in future. Highly recommend!

He is a very engaged and intelligent wrestler. Strong and quick. Clear about expectations and sticks exactly with them. Enjoyable to talk with, very reliable in setting up a match, and is a very good sport throughout.

An absolute tank. We had been talking about locking up for awhile and when we did, it was a match worth waiting for. As soon as we bumped chests, we were locked up in a rough, sweaty, bear on bear match going at it for hours.
Great host, great space, and a great time.

Wow. What a fighter! He is huge! And he doesn’t realise how strong he is. He has some of the biggest biceps I have ever seen! And he is a very rough fighter. There are no rules with this guy….

He is also a real gentleman and great guy.

John and I had our second meeting recently in the privacy of a Travelodge room nearly ten years after the first one. He's a much better wrestler than me and I was still taking things very easy after a shoulder injury so it was more of a fun roll about. John is still in remarkably good shape and little changed since our first meeting.
