I had the honor and thrill of hosting underground wrestling great Brendan Byers at my home and mat room in Cleveland. Of course, he is very knowledgeable about wrestling, makes a great heel, and even better jobber, but more importantly on and especially off the mat he is one of the nicest people you will meet. Help set up my fantasy bout against Superman, gave me some great tips on how to be a better heel, and then didn't mind being on the receiving end of those holds. I have a new friend - and hope to spend another wrestling weekend with Brenden anytime soon.

I'll say it again: "Dallasbeefyguy's profile photos don't do him justice." This was mentioned in another recommendation. It's evident that he regularly works out and is a powerful man. Teaching the knowledge I have gained from the gym mat and the other MF members here has been enjoyable for me to share with him. He was easy to get in touch with, made it easy to plan the match, and was upfront about the time and place. When I return to Dallas, I can't wait to have another match.

I am aware of how the flag procedure works on MF. However, I believe that these flags ought to be reviewed after X favorable reviews.

Marcos Ray is a handsome, strong and very muscular fighter and is shaping up to be a strong heel. It was wrestling of two men wanting to compare and contrast. To be the alpha. And it turned out as expected. Marcos towered over me with his strength and his weight. He held me under him the whole time.I managed to bridge under him a few times and lift him up, but he held on to me and enjoyed it. and I couldn't get him off of me. Outside of wrestling he is a very good and cordial guy. And it was great meeting him.

Brian & I have wrestled early last year, back when his username was "desertbri". To summarize the recommendation I wrote then, Brian is a great host. He has powerful legs, and he skillfully got me into locks I couldn't escape from. He lacks formal training. But he makes up for it with many years of experience and watching UFC as an avid fan. Yes, I may be better now than I was, but he still kept me on defense. He zealously maintains the upper-hand. He is a kind, soft-spoken yet confident bro.
By the way, I should definitely mention that Brian's chest looks much bigger in person than it does in his profile photo.

"Scrappy" is the mildest adjective that describes this wrestler. How about strong, quick/fast, flexible, and skilled-with-great-instincts. To quote from a 1981 comedy film, ScrappyWrester is "a lean, mean, fighting machine." Well .... maybe not "mean." SW's profile says he loves to dominate, which I can confirm, but he makes it fun. I was definitely out skilled and out maneuvered, all while having a great time! Pre-match communication was excellent ... he even checked in en route. When not putting me in my place, SW is smart, personable, and easy to hang with. I highly recommend ScrappyWrestler for a great submission match .... and would welcome the opportunity for another go around with him.
