German-fighter is the careful yet fun and smiley guy at the open mat event. He seemed a bit hesitant at first and even apologized for not being a very technical fighter, but within seconds, we were laughing and rolling like kids, making the most of the 6 minutes we had together. It was impossible to stay serious and focused around him. And I loved it. I’m smiling even as I write this recommendation. Thank you so much for the roll and for spreading so much joy.

KWwrestler is a fun guy to have a sweaty match with.
He fights hard and is full of energy. I got sneaked up by this guy while I wasn't looking and was in his submission for quite a long time.
The whole match was great!

He wrestled quite well and knew how to maneuver his position. We went back and forth in our matches and it was a fun and sweaty match

The great diversity of men, fighting styles, ages, body types and sizes is one of the main attractions of an open mat for me. Ringerhb is probably the biggest man I've ever rolled with, and it was both a pleasure and a challenge. I love his attitude: straightforward, confident, positive, and fun. His size forced me to be more creative, adapt, and switch up techniques.

While I don’t remember if either of us got the other to tap, I do remember that we were both smiling and laughing throughout the entire round, and his stamina never seemed to run out. That kind of fun, to me, is the essence of fighting.

Thank you very much for the roll, and thank you for being there. Let’s definitely do it again!

I must admit, PeterPeter is the better man because, as a boxer, he agreed to grapple with me during the open mat event in Bremen, whereas I failed to step into the boxing ring with him. I guess I still owe him a round of boxing!

He's strong. When he pins you to the mat, you're at serious risk of being stuck there. But he’s also very playful and enjoys being provoked into aggression—at which I completely failed because he kept being his fun and playful self, even though I did my best to tease and push him. All within the limits of what’s socially acceptable at a public event, of course :-)

He’s a great guy if you love to have fun, laugh, tease, and roll! Hope to see you again next time.

Well, I was wearing Venum fight shorts, so maybe that cobra metaphor wasn't too far-fetched... 😆

I rolled around at least twice with diamondcutter at a recent Open Mat in Bremen and both rounds were a lot of fun. Like diamondcutter says in his review he was mostly on the defensive, but he defends very well, and his technique is very good, definitely more 'textbook' than mine. We chatted quite a bit before, after and even during the rounds and I recommend diamondcutter not just as a fighter but as a genuine, nice guy to hang out with.

In the great diversity of men, fighting styles, ages, body types, and sizes that an open mat can offer, Wrestlinger2009 falls into the category of "super tall with long limbs." Rolling with him was both a pleasure and a challenge. When I tried to apply an armbar on him, it felt like his arm was as long as my entire body! It was a lot of fun.

He also seems to be a quiet and reserved person. I was patient and careful when asking him for a roll, and I was really happy that he agreed. He brought a moment of peace and calm that I appreciated just as much as any other round.
