Great meeting this seasoned pro-style grappler. He has a wealth of knowledge about the real and underground pro world. He sells his jobber role very well…at least I thought he was selling 😎. Meet any time I’m back this way.

Had a blast rolling with this huge man. Strong, big and tall, handsome—the total package. He wanted to learn some holds and counters so the match was more instructional but I made the pressure very real. Didn’t want to cheat him😉. Smart and eager to learn. Very happy to meet anytime. Next time says he is going to use what he learned…😈

So easy to recommend theventure for a variety of reasons.. when the door opens and he greets you, you instantly know he’s a genuine, intelligent and fun guy (not to mention far more jacked than his pics indicate). Good conversationalist but once the fight starts, it’s no more Mr nice guy 😂
He’s impressively strong, possessing some brutal moves and endless energy. Yes, I was forced to tap multiple times and if you underestimate him, the same will happen to you! The guy is an absolute tank - controlled aggression and some brute force winning out this time but I’ll be back for another go at him, maybe after adding some weight so he can’t toss me so easily!!! An absolute legend of a guy - 💯 recommended for wrestlers of all levels!!

Lots of good back and fourth and they matched the mood very well. Good competition with good holds and defensive game. Lasted a good chunk of time with him and it was very fun! Def would roll with them again!

Lancsboxer and I met Matt yesterday and the match lived up to the expectations. He can both pack and take a punch. Matt is a gentleman and someone fun to talk to. He is also very accommodating. Looking forward to Round 2 (in the UK? 😊).

We wrestled in his hotel room while he visited Stockholm. Friendly and respectful. Handsome, looks a lot younger than he is. He has a very strong bearhug which caught me off guard when he lifted me up against the wall. Highly recommended.

Matt came out to D.C to meet my partner & I whilst we were on holiday. We had been exchanging messages for a month prior & from the outset it was clear what to expect from each other.

In real life Matt is as friendly & chatty, we talked about all sorts, from previous matches to films & tattoos. Matt is funny, chilled & a pleasure to spend time with.

The match itself was in two parts. First 3×1.5 min rounds of body boxing. Matt was determined & landed some good hooks. He knew how to defend himself & never gave up.

After a break Matt showed me some wrestling holds & submissions. He is a good teacher & his full nelson is brutal. We then did some grappling & Matt was kind enough to let me try some of the moves learned.

We're going to keep in touch & hopefully have another match in the future.
It was great fun meeting Matt & I heartily reccomend meeting him.

After chatting for the last month or so I finally met able to meet up with Catalan Boxer and LancsBoxer on their East coast international tour, and glad I did. Both of the guys are the perfect gentlemen. They invited me over and welcomed me with open arms to our Thursday night boxing fest. Despite being very new to boxing Catalan and Lancs took their time with me and helped me feel more confident with our spars! If you get the chance to meet these guy please do it. They’re great people on and off the mat! Can’t wait for round 2

This lad lives up to and exceeds the hype! We'd chatted for an age, so my expectations were kinda high, and wow this lad exceeded them. Had a great wrestle, both working up quite a sweat, this lad is strong as you like, the muscles are not just for show, this stud has an upper body that will make you jealous!! Lots of mutual laughs interspersed with grunts of effort. A cool and easy going lad off the mat too, it was great hanging out and grabbing a workout together! Don't hesitate to meet him if you get chance!! I hope the beginning of a long rivalry with this handsome fella. Bring on round 2...

After chatting for the last month or so I was able to meet up with LancsBoxer and Catalan Boxer and it was worth the wait. These guys are the real deal and the perfect opponents and gentleman. After having a few rounds with Catalan it was my turn to have a go with Lancs, he was a very fun opponent and able to adapt to my lack of boxing skill but dominated the 3 rounds we went at it. After our spar I was lucky enough to show some wrestling moves to Lancs and we might make a wrestler out of him yet. If you are able to meet up with them please do. They are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met from this site and good people on and off the mats. Can’t wait for round 2!
