After we were unable to meet a couple of months ago Submission Jobber got back in touch to say he would be passing through Hawick. After re-messaging each other about what we, mutually, would be looking for in a meet up we agreed a time and date. He arrived, after a slight travel delay (which he kept me up to date on), as arranged and, after a quick freshen up and “getting to know you chat” we set to for a fun 2 hour session, more of a give n take roll around than “wrestling” but very enjoyable. Look forward to meeting this safe, sane, fit, fun guy the next time our paths might cross.

Beware of this person. He’s a compulsive jaywalker with no respect for highway code. And he publicly buys (large amounts of) beer, hereby disregarding generally accepted social code of conduct.
Luckily, since him nor myself have been caught running a red light with huge packs of beer under our arms, we can say that the above is largely exaggerated and counts as a joke :-)
On the mats I’d need a can opener (!) to break his frame. I never got through his defense. And it is only now that I read his profile that I’m aware of the huge weight difference between us. On the mats he felt much tougher and more powerful than his weight suggests.

Been talking to this stud for a while, and I’m glad I finally got the chance to put those muscles to the test on my brief trip to NYC. We set a timer and just went at it. There was a 20+ lb. weight difference between us, and he definitely made me work. Our match was intense, sweaty, and rough leaving us both exhausted. Whether it’s in Atlanta or NYC, we’ll definitely be meeting up again and have an even rougher match😈 Great guy and wrestler. Highly recommended!

My oh my, this guy is learning BJJ so fast. Just a year ago, I was dominating him on the mats, and now he manages to control most of the game and even make me tap. I love seeing him grow so quickly, and it's making me consider training more regularly.

Clearly, his recommendation of me is way too humble and respectful. But maybe that’s to be expected from someone who calls himself a trapdoor. But there's no need to panic—this man knows exactly what he’s doing on the mats and will happily and safely take on most challengers. So don’t be shy about reaching out to him for a fight and make the first move to open the door. It will be worthwhile!

Where to begin?

Well, I had the pleasure of meeting Antton and his bf who are very nice, handsome, and accommodating off the mat.

I failed to do homework prior to our match and basically fell victim to very well trained and skilled guys. I wanted the match to be competitive and they delivered just that.

Any move I tried to get out of, they weren't going to allow it. Any move I tried to get them in, they were steps ahead of me. They didn't go easy on me and I loved it. They're true alphas.

After the match, their skills made me want to get into their style of jiu jitsu, focusing on take downs, holds and submissions.

We did a few rounds of submission and I tapped out on all. They are seriously that skilled and strong.

I very much enjoyed my time with these guys and hope to meet up in the near future with more training under my belt, hoping to return the favor and make them tap out next time.

We met him at our open mat in Mechelen. A strong and fast guy, safe and friendly. What else can I add besides he is also technical? He impressed us with his great stamina and the way he fought with one of the verry experienced BJJ guys during the open mat, it was stunning. I hope t have more fights with him and learn and improve with him. Great guy.

It’s very nice to meet Newazaguy in my first group meeting. At first, I was very nervous because I have heard many guys on this site talking about how strong he is. The truth is he had practiced Judo long time ago but his strength is still there. You can totally tell from his body muscles. And I tapped so fast (I guess maybe 10 seconds) in the first round. Then it was very nice of him to slow down a bit, so I could roll with him longer.

After adjusting his power, he was very careful with every move he did with me. Sometimes he would just create a chance so I could make a move. And also, he would give me some chances so I could apply some moves to make him tap and enjoy being a winner. Even we didn’t roll that much, but the pleasure is beyond words. I already invited him to Bologna for a rematch and see if I will have a better performance in my own arena. Thank you for the great time together and hope to meet you again soon!!!

✅ power dense body ( you would not expect just by the looks)
✅ Rough on the mats, soft and charismatic outside (and he knows exactly when to switch between both)
✅ Absolutely domineering on the mats (he is a real winner but prioritizes his opponents safety and check up that his opponent is absolutely comfortable with it.)
✅ Give great head and shoulder massages

So fight this guy when you have the chance!

Sympathetic and good-looking guy. Without material arts experience, he is a very good fighter and now quite a few moves and techniques. He doesn't let himself be pushed around and if you give a little, you'll be held in his grip. Reliable guy, recommended!

It was a honour to meet this great fighter during the open mats event in Mechelen. He kindly invited me to the mats. I was completely impressed by his strength and skills. Despite the huge difference from all fronts, he adapted very well my level, had a delicate control and could make rolling still interesting while maintaining the good intensity 👍 I enjoyed it very much. It was also nice to know his experience during the chat outside the mats. Definitely like to meet him again in the future! 😄
