Well well, after weeks of taunts and threats (which continued yesterday), both Bachgen Botas and I travelled nearly 200 miles from our respective homes to meet and fight in Manchester. It was clear from our initial greeting and handshake at Manchester Piccadilly that we were going to get along. After two beers we headed to the fight space in our doc martens and jeans - door closed the t-shirts were off and we clashed. We had agreed a submission bout with body strikes and that was the fight that ensued. We had a great battle over a period of nearly 3 hours, a tough, sweaty, bruising bout. I would describe the welshman as a cross breed - he has the tenacity of a Scottish Terrier and the strength and aggression of a Bulldog. Despite being a 'newbie' BB was in control several times during the fight but just never managed to get that submission that he so desperately wanted. He is aggressive and strong and a great opponent - we both know there will be a second fight and maybe a third as it is clear we have outstanding business to settle!! Challenge this yappy bulldog - you won't be disappointed!

Had the opportunity to wrestle OceanWrestler during a trip to DC. He's a tall, lean, strong and good looking wrestler with good wrestling instincts. We had a good sweaty match with a lot of give and take and testing each other's strength and stamina, all safe and sane and really fun. Off the mats, he's a great guy, friendly and smart and has a great sense of humor too. I recommend him very highly if you get the chance to roll with him! Looking forward to the next round already.

Met up with Scrapmerchant In Manchester after weeks of banter and windups. I must admit I was nervous meeting this guy who has been on MF for so long and me a rookie. After the first pint I started to relax, he is a really great guy funny and friendly. After the second pint off we went to the hotel and my gosh what a tough guy he is. We fought in jeans and DM's something that I have always wanted to do. We ended up in speedos and carried on what I can only call scrapping (Hence his profile name :) ) Thats all I can say is that It was brilliant I have the bruises to show how good it was. Oh I have to add I lost the match but can't wait for our next meet-up. I'm coming for you Scrapmerchant with my Welsh flag to drape over you, CYMRU AM BYTH!

The guy is strong , and found it very hard to get free once he had me pinned down.In any case it was a lot of sweaty fun and I will gladly fight him again, hopefully with improved guard abilities 2nd time around.

He was a great opponent. We each got to try out some holds on each other and I ended up getting him to tap 3 times. He should me some new stuff that I haven’t seen before and he talk his defeat graciously. Off the mats he’s a good conversationalist and it was really easy setting up a time to meet.

Last 7 years, i invited this boy to stay with me at my place at Toronto. We had so much fun, in and out of the mats. Lately, last week-end, it was my turn, i flight on his way until Denver. It was so great and so much fun to meet this sexy man again.
