un combattant téméraire! il savait que je n'allais pas lui faire de cadeau mais il est qd mm venu. ça a été un plaisir de le rencontrer et le soumettre à multiple reprises malgré sa résistance à mes assauts! lol. J'attends avec impatience qu'il prenne encore qq kg de muscles pour encore plus le soumettre, c'est tellement délectable. En dehors du combat un adorable individu cultivé, merci encore d'avoir fait le déplacement d'aussi loin.

It’s been great to meet Trapdoor at various events, where his love of the sport is so apparent and his skills have each time continued on an upward trajectory at an alarming rate. I’ve really enjoyed all my entanglements with him and look forward to many more, albeit in an increasingly defensive mode. A great opponent who you know you can be completely confident will give you a safe, fun, but challenging roll. Highest recommendation.

I had been looking forward to finally wrestling with Mr Coops on his recent trip to London and he didn’t disappoint at all! He looks great in his gear and was fun to grapple with. It was a hard fought sweaty match but always safe and sane. He had a clear weight advantage but still kept the match open for me and when he let his guard down I was able to get some sneaky submissions from him.
To make the afternoon even better he was great company over a few drinks after the match when we discussed many things including tips for hiking trips and the theatre. I definitely want a re-match and he comes highly recommended!

Fig4 is the real deal. Great personality with plenty of skill and experience. Our match was pretty spontaneous, but he was still very good about communicating the details of what we were both expecting. He knows his holds and has a playful way of drawing them out and transitioning between them. I couldn't compete with his size and experience advantage, but at least I got a couple of taps, and next time I'll be better rested and get a few more.

MJ takes his triathlon training very seriously and man does it show. It also translates into a really fun match where I was able to test his flexibility and endurance...and he tested mine. A great time with a great guy for sure. His legs are like zip-ties, so beware of his slow crushing inescapable scissor holds. Easy to connect with and an awesome guy to chat with in between rounds. Looking forward to round 2 buddy!

It was a lot of fun to roll with Matwix, who is very technical and well-skilled at submission wrestling. He seems to have endless stamina, is both fast and strong, but also friendly, smiling, and respectful of his opponent. A very enjoyable roll which I would love to repeat in the future, and a very nice guy both on and off the mat.

Bamm-Bamm made our match so much fun that I found it difficult to stop laughing. I saw his impressive presence at the Mechelen meet, and I quickly dismissed any thoughts of tangling with him. He has a daunting physique and is very physically fit, so it could have been a total squash, but he approached with such a friendly smile that I threw all caution to the wind and found myself having a hugely enjoyable match because he was so skilful at holding back just enough to make it work (without making it too obvious!). It takes a high level of skill coupled with an empathetic nature to allow this to happen. Thank you so much!

Damly has such a calm personality which masks his considerable strength, determination and very solid defence, so I sort of ‘met my match’ 😊 We had two very enjoyable bouts, and he was very good company off the mats too. I look forward to meeting him again before too long.

Newazaguy is a great guy to wrestle, with his long legs that he uses so skillfully. I’ll need to work out a better way of dealing with them for next time! I wish we had had more time to roll, but hopefully we will meet again.

Rower87 is a relaxed guy and very easy to chat to, and he carries that relaxed style onto the mat too, but without letting it compromise his fighting ability. At the same time he is tremendously energetic and athletic, which all made for a very enjoyable match for me. Many thanks!
