Met up with GrapplingHB during the Belgium open mat in Mechelen. It was a fun roll, quite technical and a really good time, very polite person. It was an pleasure to meet and really made the travel and holiday even more special! Looking forward to meeting again!

QUADI1 ist ein sehr guter Fighter, der sich in den knapp 10 Jahren, in denen wir uns schon regelmäßig treffen, sehr stark entwickelt hat, sowohl technisch wie auch von Kraft und Ausdauer, so dass es auf der Matte immer wieder heiß zu Sache geht, aber auch mal entspanntere Runden eingelegt werden können. Außerhalb vom Ringen ist QUADI1 ein toller Mensch, Gesprächspartner und sympathischer Kerl. Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal im März

Mit Studius hatte ich bei den "Bösen Buben" ein turbolentes Match geliefert. Nachdem wir von der Standposition anfingen,ging es dann auf dem Boden volle Action zur Sache. Musste volle Kraft und Energie aufwenden,um bei diesem starken Burschen gegenzuhalten. Danach nutzten wir die Zeit bei einem netten Plausch,um wieder etwas runterzukommen. Bin sehr bestrebt,wieder mal in dem Club mit Studius so einen tollen Mattengang zu bestreiten. Kann ihn nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Had amazing time to meet this man! We talk since many years! Finally we meet at nyc! This man is handsome, sweet, friendly! I was very confortable to talking with him! Both was very exhausted after many matches that both had at nyc with our body sore, then we decided to wrestle light with exchange holds! It was fun! If you have opportunity to meet this man, just do it! You will enjoy your experience with this muscle man!

So I met this guy at our local open mat in Mechelen, he drew my attention by waving and smiling gently towards me. Seeing a dark blue gi and white belt, I saw no poisenous colours, nor any bright colours to lure pray like in wildlife. So I mentaly prepared for a nice inter-some-whitish-belt-roll (I don't have a belt). As always on the mat, risks are calculated. But damn did I figure out, ... I'm bad at math.

We started an energetic roll. Thank god I didn't wear a gi, just my rashguard so i had something to try to grab, because this guy is pretty strong, quite technical and despite his verry relaxed appearance, quite fast. So the math was quickly done, I had to tap a few times. He counted his victories, I counted the stars and could only whisper k..va :). But the roll was verry enjoyable. If I have the chance I will go for a rematch. See you again mister.

So Meet Pete (it makes a rhyme). 191cm and 91kg of adorable personality, muscles, energy and techniques. We had two rolls during the open mat. He gave me some compliments about my skills (thank you) and showed me several of his', mostly resulting in a tap out by me. But that's how we learn. I enjoyed every minute of fight. A real banter. I think he sees a big fighter in me, because he used some strechting techniques trying to make me grow a centimeter or two (so I would finally reach 1m80!) ;) . He made me tap a few times. But he gave me more motivation to try to join our local bjj class weekly and maybe some extra open mats. So I hope, when he comes for this summer camp, I find a stepladder, look him straight in the eyes and show him some progress. If you get the chance gents, hit him up, roll with him. Defenitly worth it.

Having chatted for some time he ended up in London and we grabbed the chance to meet. Solid strong hot young man who loves to dominate, with an easy going friendly personality. Look forward to a re-match.

I met wrestlercologne together with Noby; I strongly advise against meeting these two individuals if you have had a long and tiring working day..!! jokes aside, great technique and strength from both... I missed the striking a bit but it doesn't matter; a great experience with two of the strongest fighters I have met so far
