Met up with Yan at a pre-arranged hotel. We had a mutually enjoyable session together lasting over 2 and a half hours. It is so good to see this star of the UK wrestling world here in Meetfighters! We have been battling it out on the mats for more years than I care to remember. He is totally reliable and a generous host. Our matches have always been fun, and often pretty hard fought contests. It is a real sadness that ill health has meant that he has had to stop wrestling. But as he says, he is happy and willing to coach, at which he is a skilled practitioner! He is also a mine of information about the glory days of Brit Pro wrestling.
