Just home after wrestling leanmuscles at the Walthamstow matroom. A great venue and a great opponent. There's nothing better than two guys in speedos (and in my case, wrestling shoes) sizing each other up across the mat, each wondering how much of a challenge his opponent is going to pose. Leanmuscles' profile says he's looking for 'easy going' matches, which I took to mean he'd be a bit of a walkover. That was my first mistake. As soon as we locked up and his impressive biceps tensed, I knew I was in a contest. I managed to win the first couple of submissions and thought that as he began to tire, he'd be easier to handle. My second mistake, as I became complacent and he cranked on a headlock that had the blood pulsing in my ears as I tapped my submission. We grappled for more than an hour; the bastard doesn't tire. Leanmuscles isn't just a guy who likes to wrestle - in my book, he's a wrestler. I recommend him to other wrestlers. He's a great guy too. Fun off the mats, and on - we had a few laughs between rounds. And he's a good loser. (Sorry, mate, couldn't resist. 😉) I'm looking forward to feeling sore in the morning; I just hope I've returned the favour.

J'ai ouvert la porte à un gars souriant, déjà en tenue de sport et très bien bâti. Si vous ne savez pas ce que c'est qu'un vrai lutteur, luttez avec Wrestswim1. Il est incroyablement agile et a une technique experte qui vous coince au sol en quelques secondes. C'est simple : j'ai perdu tous les combats. Ce sportif est en plus plus hyper sympathique. J'ai passé avec lui une fin d'apres-midi intense et très sportive.

Glad we could meet this seasoned wrestler while travelling around Indonesia. He looks great in gear and has a strong bulky body that was quite fun to manhandle. Although he put us a good fight, our training was too much to overcome.
