Have you ever met a guy where you box & afterwards think to yourself "damn, I wish this guy could box me all the time"? Well this is that guy. He hosted me at his place & we boxed a full 12 one-minute rounds in 12oz boxing gloves. We agreed on 70% power but it was soon clear that we were loving each sweaty hard impact to our faces & bodies that we cranked it up to 80%+. Such a great experience with rough punches. He clinched up against me too (I'm typically not a fan of clinching) but with his good looks & eagerness I wasn't complaining at all. Absolutely loved it.

Right after boxing, we did submission wrestling (still both of us sweaty) & needless to say he tapped me out 3/3. I sense he was toying with me at first & enjoying the moment & as each session progressed he got more & more aggressive. All I can say is wow; what a great "welcome" to Minneapolis! 100% recommend & would definitely have more matches with him if/when the opportunity arises!

Had a great first experience with this guy.Really strong but patient with a first timer.Can’t wait for the soreness to go away. I know he was leery about taking on an older rookie,but I don’t think I disappointed.Had a great time talking afterwards and I hope we can meet up again.
8/25/2023 Met up with Dave today to see how things have changed after 4 years. I started out pretty strong, but he was playing the long game and eventually wore me down. This wiry guy is very strong and I must say-sneaky! I had a great time and I’d better not wait another 4 years before we meet up again. I highly recommend this guy.

I met GrapplingHB during my trip to Mechelen. He's a very technical blackbelt and taught me some moves, it was fun to roll with him and I would like to meet him again. I recommend him!

Smart and very interesting, handsome, lightweight, extremely agile, technical, amazing fighting instincts, slippery when sweaty, modest, driven and focused. All that while being huge fun to roll with.
Highly recommended for all levels of fighters.
The time on the mats with him felt like a long and exhausting grappling sparring session. Both of us dripping in sweat.
Never before - outside of the bjj club - has somebody from his weight class put me through my paces like him. Respect.

Another rematch again, we met in a 3-way match. This time heeljobb83 gave me an even more challenging match & dominated me few times. Finally we had a winner, & I need a revenge!

Every rematch with heeljobb83 is challenging. He is obviously more muscular since then. Very tough fight & it ended as a draw this time.
Well done, heeljobb83! We need another rematch to define the winner.

Again, heeljobb83 has again proved himself a worthy opponent, the fight is getting tougher this time. More difficult to maintain on top position nowadays.

After two years, Heeljob83 becomes more muscular & skillful. A much tougher opponent this time, I have to put extra effort to avoid many of his locks & attacks. Overall, it was a long & sweaty fight. Don't hesitate to challenge him if you are in Singapore. He is a worthy opponent.

Heeljobb83 is a good fighter. He knew his skills & applied them well. We both locked tight on each other from the first minute. Because of my weight & strength advantage, I have avoided many of his locks. Hope to have a rematch with him in the future.

We had a short but quite intense match during a group meetup in Mechelen. It's not easy to make him tap but a lot of fun rolling with him. I can't wait for our next encounter! Highly recommended.
