nycguy86 graciously hosted me for some competitive sub on a Sunday afternoon and it was great finally getting to compete with someone my size. We went back and forth for a while but eventually I got the first sub and most of the others after that. :) he’s very strong and toned as well as many others have pointed out.

when we finished the competitive rounds we practiced a bit to work on technique. Great guy and hope we roll again in the future.

I had a great match with fitspeedo. I enjoyed the holds. I learned a few new holds too! He is a good guy: energetic, fit, friendly, strong and a skilled wrestler. He gets my top recommendation.

Heute (06.08.2023) war ich bei Umlaut in Köln zu Besuch. Er war ein toller und sympathischer Gastgeber, der auch während des Kampfes immer sehr rücksichtsvoll und vorsichtig war. Zu Beginn haben wir uns kurz unterhalten und dann direkt mehrere Runden im Submission-Style gekämpft. Dabei konnte ich einige Runden für mich durch diverse Pins und Griffe entscheiden. Was die Kraft angeht, war ich leicht überlegen aber bzgl. der Ausdauer war es mehr oder weniger ausgeglichen zwischen uns. Jedoch ist er nicht zu unterschätzen und hat Fehler meinerseits schnell ausgenutzt, um dann die Oberhand zu gewinnen. Insgesamt war es ein spannender und schweißtreibender Nachmittag, der sehr viel Spaß gemacht hat. Nach dem Kampf haben wir uns noch für einige Zeit nett unterhalten, bevor ich mich wieder auf den Heimweg machte. Ich kann ihn auf jeden Fall uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Today (06.08.2023) I visited Umlaut in Cologne. He was a great and sympathetic host who was also very considerate and cautious during the whole fight. At the beginning, we talked briefly and then fought for several rounds in submission style. Thereby, I was able to win several rounds with various pins and holds. In terms of strengths, I was slightly superior but in terms of endurance, it was more or less balanced between us. However, he should not be underestimated since he quickly took advantage of my mistakes to gain the upper hand. Overall, it was an exciting and sweaty afternoon which was a lot of fun. After the fight, we had a nice chat for a while before I was heading home again. I can really recommend him.
