Bard entered his first wrestlefest not knowing what to expect and I’m sure he learned a ton. He’s very friendly off the mats and had a willingness to learn all the holds / sub moves we could teach. I highly recommend meeting up with him to rumble

Great guy to fight. Hot, strong, kinky. will put up a good fight all over the hotel room. Also super friendly and easy to set something up with, which is half the battle already. PS: Those legs are something else. wow.

Where should I start? Me and Matwix were chatting for quite a while before our match and I had a very good feeling about this guy which revealed to be true after we met. He is a friendly and fair guy and organising the match was very easy despite his tight schedule. We both agreed on a fun competitive match and that’s exactly what happened. The fight for the first domination and pin was probably the longest that I’ve had since we both knew how important the first round was. Matwix surprised me by his strength and after a long struggle of about half an hour I just had to tap. After that Matwix gained confidence for the second round and unfortunately he escaped my pin and took the control again. I was probably too exhausted for the third round and lost again :( Despite the surprising result I enjoyed a lot the competitive fight and I’m really looking forward to my revenge! I highly recommend Matwix who is surely one of my favorite opponents!

What a great guy and one of my all time favorite wrestlers! Have had many fun matches and he can take as much punishment as he can dish out. Can’t wait to have our next match!

So I was visiting Macho Gabacho and Barriobruiser, reminiscing about matches when the ring when was housed in the North Hollywood storage shed. I recall an after hours bout that, no exaggeration, started at 11PM and went past 2AM. All these years later (the date here is only a placeholder), I remembered my opponent's first name... not the (AOL) profile. Turns out it's, naturally, their friend. And he and I had already been messaging... over time, we'd moved up weight classes.

I vividly recall his tall, shredded surfer frame standing over my rookie self... and his skimpy and tight, high-riding red speedos. This wasn't pro. It was sweaty submission marked by an unbelievable 14-minute camel clutch. He cranked it slowly, safely inching each of my vertebrae into a precarious angle. The wall clock marked not only each passing minute, but every second. That hold was one of the most intense wrestling moments I'd ever experienced, the kind of situations you fight and fight and fight to escape. Just when you work and work towards daylight, it gets quickly, deflatingly reapplied.

I made the mistake of not eating beforehand. A big bottle of water went way too fast. That summer was a pressure cooker, and we passed out next to each other, leaving sweat puddles on the mat. After we propped open the doors to get some air, a patrol car stopped to check out what we were doing. A young, stocky Latino cop tried to play it cool but totally gave off an INTERESTED vibe. LOL

Round II is years in the making. Can't wait to have a legends reunion.

I'm going to find those cops and issue them a tag team challenge for our Legends Reunion. If I only had had my wits about me that night!

Awesome guy, very nice and has great hospitality. Easy to communicate for setup and execution. I had a blast with this tough guy. Lots of holds, grunts and groans. Great wrestling camaraderie and conversations. Highly recommended.

Arabicwrestler is such a nice guy! Had a match with him in Bahrain and had a great time.

He is very strong! You will learn a lot of wrestling moves from him. He got me overpowered but he adjusts so both of you can enjoy wrestling together.

mike and i were similar level in skills but i was 20lbs heavier and that gave me quite a bit of advantages. But mike never gave up fighting and made the match super fun. that’s the kinda match i like. just keep on fighting even if your opponent is bigger. such a fun time. i would wrestle him again anytime
