Arrived early at wrestlefest and this gentleman had arrived early as well. He looked non-descript; tall, lean and handsome with glasses and baseball cap. I was a bit cocky, and I figured I'd be able to overpower him, but when he changed into his singlet I was shocked at all the muscle. Where was he hiding it all?

"I'm a marathon runner", he admitted casually. That's when I knew I was in for it. I was lucky to escape with a submission in our first match, but he made me pay the next match in front of everybody!

I can't wait until our next match. Highly recommend him if you get the opportunity to wrestle him. One of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure to wrestle.

April 2023: Really fun guy to wrestle. He's strong, skilled, safe and knows his way well around the mat. Great guy off the mat too. If you ever have a chance to wrestle him, don't pass it up!

September 2024: Had an opportunity for a longer rematch. He is in great shape, more muscular than the last time we wrestled over a year ago, and is incredibly knowledgeable about wrestling skills. He is far bigger and stronger than me, so it was really tough to get him in any pins when we wrestled competitively, and he easily made me his jobber. But he kept things very safe and sane, and was such a great sport in bringing things down to my level, letting me have some pins, and teaching me a few moves. Really fun to wrestle! And such a smart and cool guy off the mat. I give him my highest recommendations–even if you're a smaller guy, don't hesitate to wrestle him!

Met up with Sportsman17 this afternoon. I had a great time. He is strong and very knowledgeable with wrestling. We exchanged taps and wrestled for about an hour. He was gracious enough to teach me a new leg hold.
Definitely wrestle him if you get the chance and I hope to soon again

I had a great match with Calad which he was gracious to host. It was very easy to arrange a meeting with him. In fact, we planned our meeting while we were on two different continents and weeks in advance. And everything went smoothly despite both our busy schedules and travel plans.
He’s a super nice guy and we had a very nice back and forth match. He’s strong and his legs can get you in trouble before you know it. It was a great pleasure rolling with him and I would definitely recommend him. Furthermore, he’s very smart and we had great conversations in between our rounds of wrestling. Thank you again for hosting our great match.
