It was a lot of fun meeting up with Jersey Boy. We went hard for almost two hours. He knows good submission and can take and give some good gut punches. Don't miss out on a chance to meet up with him

Finally it came the time to fight this friendly and down-to-earth English fighter based in France. We wrestled at the Walthamstow venue both in the main mat and the smaller one upstairs where I had tough times in both trying unsuccessfully to pin him to the ground. This had been due to his excellent reflex, stamina and training background. Prior to fighting we both agreed to use punches and while grappling (or attempting to do so by my side...) He suggested that we should have refrained from throwing kicks which I believe had been the right choice given the strong legs he has.
His leg and arm locks are devastating and the latter is proved by the small bleeding I have on my right armpit. Nevertheless, he is totally safe & sane and can follow his opponent pace.
D. Is very serious on fighting which I appreciated a lot and willing to teach holds too. Afterwards, we went to a pub for a pint and I enjoyed learning more about him. He is also kind enough to have recommended me a therapy for a bad habit I do have. So folks on here, do not be shy to meet him, a great fight will be on its way.

Solo and I met up back in the day and we had a healthy bit of bantering going
into our St. Patrick's Day weekend face off. Boxed 3x that weekend and he is
one tough guy. He landed some bombs and it was an enjoyable time. He's a great
boxer and guy outside of the gloves. I highly recommend him to others.

Definitely one of the hardest hitting boxers I've ever taken on, great guy and laid back about it all but don't sleep on your defense. I can't think of a single bout we had that wasn't full of good back and forth exchanges and I would love to box with him again someday. Again in a ring for sure.

Update. May 10 2025

Met up with J again today and sparred with him and several of his gym partners. Had a great mix of styles and looking forward to the next visit. 🥊🥊

Met up Action many years back at Gleason's gym in Brooklyn and we sparred several rounds each time, very strong defense and a highly accurate puncher. He was easy going and I enjoyed the sparring immensely. Great guy.

Wrestlelover truly loves wrestling: enthusiastic, energetic, intuitive, intense. It is great fun to meet and wrestle this strong man. Be aware: he knows how to put pressure on his opponent and how to use his long limbs. Without hesitation I recommend him to everybody who is into a good, sane and safe match.

Had a great match with this. Lovely guy. And fit too. Also he can take any punishment you throw at him. Hard work to wear this jobber down. Look forward to.next time already. 👍👍

Another challenge that got interrupted by covid, we'd been building up to this for awhile and by the time it came to meet, we both wanted a war - and HHfight certainly delivered. With some boxing training under his belt, he punches hard, and i've got the bruises to prove it. Fortunately my grappling kept him tied up on the ground, but his very effective range and takedown defence made it hard to get him off his feet and avoid those lethal combinations. Cardio needs some work, but he still managed 1h30 with few breaks. The mats and padded fight room at Walthamstow both got a good workout, tho the open mat space better suited his instincts to circle and avoid locking up. Definitely gets my recommendation - but don't strike with him if you don't like getting hit!

Headlock was an amazing guy to wrestle with. He is kind, passionate and full of strength! He was so nice to teach me a few moves before we exchanged some locks and practiced it for a couple rounds. He put me into positions I couldn't get out of many times, and i returned the favour! Strongly recommend him!
