I'd contacted Lucario when organizing matches for after my marathon in Rome, though I think we'd been talking for some time beforehand. His responses were always prompt, useful and enthusiastic which is forever encouraging and telling of a person interested in a fight and willing to commit to it. Initially we had planned a group match, but as these things fall through, he was more than enough to satisfy my appetite for a match. He was kind enough to get a great wrestling space that was well utilized by the time we were done.

As a self described "twink with abs" I was surprised to say the very least at the strength he has. Lucario is very well muscled with a physique well beyond his weight, particularly his arms, washboard abs and a ferocious grip among other notable features. His back is also a sight for sore eyes and massively understated. Was equally impressed and shocked when we got down to wrestling just how well he could handle me at almost twice his weight. We wrestled twice on separate days and both matches were fatiguing, satisfying and engaging from end to end. He got plenty of taps from me which speaks to his strength quite a bit. We also got to explore some holds together and he knows his limits well but like any good wrestler, is always looking to go a little beyond them. He's a great wrestler and deserves way more opponents than he has currently. He can also take quite the choking and is privy to some scissors if you've the thighs for it.

After both matches we had great discussions (my hanger aside) over great Italian cuisine, followed by a lengthy walk around such a great city. He's a great guy that I consider a friend. Genuine, friendly, knowledgeable and super easy to be around. I will certainly be looking for another match with Lucario whenever I can and suggest you do the same if your paths cross. Having seen a few of his YouTube vids was very keen to meet Steve. The stars aligned when I was working in Leeds, and it was great to meet a tough but sane heel. Great match, but made him work for his taps. Hope for a return match soon!

Great match with Bd. He has clearly been putting time in at the gym and is more muscular and stronger than I anticipated. He was great to roll with and while he didn’t get any taps out of me with a bit more practice he should develop into a good wrestler. Would highly recommend and looking forward to round two in the future :)

What can I say! One of the best pro style matches I’ve had. I was put through it all and kept wanting more. 3 hours of back and forth action before he took the championship back with authority. Strongly recommended and looking forward to future matches.

I hadn't planned on doing any wrestling on this year visit to Mississauga but I am glad that he got in touch with me!

It was fun to wrestle with Border Force who introduced me to the joys of give and take with taps going both ways. Border Force is friendly, strong, a good host and communicator making for a fun bout of wrestling. I am certainly up for a repeat wrestling session with him. If you want to wrestle and he challenges you take up his challenge or challenge him yourself. I strongly recommend him.
