Had a great time wrestling with Bear Cub on my mats in my mat room. A good, long, sweaty fun match. He had asked me to coach him, but he does not need coaching!! He is a tiger on the mats . I'm bigger and have over 30years of wrestling experience but Bear Cub held his own and it was a GREAT time!! He is a great buddy off the mats and I would highly recommend this big stud. Do not underestimate this man due to his size, he loves to wrestle and has a great attitude. Will wrestle him often in the future.

Spent a long time talking to this guy and it was well worth the wait!! Had a great time wrestling with Capsaicin. We had a fantastic match and we got really into the hero/villain roleplay which was hot!!! He's big and strong and has some awesome gear to wrestle in. He was easy to meet with and was always very friendly whenever we talked. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fun match, especially if you're a geek into wrestling!!

I had a rematch with Leanmuscle today, some time since we last met on his mats. It was another excellent match. He is a superb host and remains every bit as much the competitor on the mats and a gentleman off them as he was when we last met - if perhaps even more competitive.

His knowledge of wrestling holds and leverage on the mats allows him to counter and sometimes either slow down attacks or extricate himself when other guys would be forced to retreat from their positions or submit.

It is no wonder he continues to get strong positive recommendations from his opponents. Be sure to get on the mats with him if given the chance to do so.

Leanmuscle has a great set-up and is very welcoming. Knows his holds well and brings a lot to the mats. Strong and flows easily from one move to the next. Just when you think you have him put away, he finds a way to reverse the hold and makes you adjust. Look forward to our next match. There is a reason he has so many positive recs. Having chatted with chubbyjudo for several months, I at last got the chance to go down to Liverpool for a wrestling session with him. As a jobber, the prospect of wrestling someone with such a big weight difference, added to his training and experience in martial arts was to say the least, exciting. I wasn’t disappointed! I was tossed, squashed, pinned and twisted by this big strong guy. I couldn’t to a thing against him. Success for me was basically trying to hold out for a respectable length of time in one of his crushing pins, immobilising holds, or submission moves before gasping for release! Although he worked me over good, he was totally safe, sane and careful.
On top of all this he is great company, a nice guy to meet and a welcoming host.
It was an amazing experience, and I certainly hope we can meet up again.

He’d seen some of my early Vertex matches and reached out to me expressing interest. Who was I to turn down a chance to step in the ring with one of most popular men on the Vertex roster?

Word quickly spread that our match was eminent. Anticipation was building among the community to a point where I was starting to feel the pressure. I also learned that Grizz was making special plans for me in the ring. At first I didn’t believe it, but this would be not be your typical Jobber vs heel scheme.

When we finally geared up and faced off in the ring, I knew I had to bring my A-game. Grizz definitely brought his.
As the grappling ensued, Grizz exhibited a graceful level of power and passion that was infectious. It quickly ignited that same energy within me to bring it on.

Grizz is no ordinary wrestler. Clearly, this was becoming no ordinary match.

There in the ring, in real time, a connection forged on a level rarely seen before. We exchanged blows and holds with unbridled intensity that was unexpected but truly empowering.

I want a rematch, but only after some more training 😅. This blue belt clobbered me in our bjj roll. I definitely need to attend class more frequently before I fight this guy. He was kind enough to share his technique and give me pointers to improve my ground game which I very much appreciated. Hopefully I can put up a better fight the next time we roll.
