I had the great opportunity to roll with Wrestledad. It was my first time wrestling in a ring and he was very patient with me. He was happy enough to show me the in’s and out’s of the wrestling ring. He was very patient with me as I am still learning the wrestling ropes. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working in the ring so the 90 degree heat took its toll on me. We had to take several breaks within the 2 hour span of wrestling. But, he was more than willing to show me many various holds and I got to feel what it was like to be on the receiving end of a Camel Clutch, Boston Crab, Indian Death Lock and many other submission holds.😂 He was also very graceful in reminding me several times what a 90lb weight difference felt like. 😊 It was an amazing time in the ring for sure and look forward to the next match.

Off the mats, Wrestledad is a wonderful person to hang out with. Personable and kind, I almost forgot how this was the same 260lb man that tried to turn me into a human pretzel just a few hours ago. HAHAHA. 🤣

Rusnak and I had a great match. He was able to meet on short notice, and we both had a great time. He’s a great host with a nice setup.

I am delighted to know gutpuncher219!!! This friendly, safe, and sane guy from Canada is 100% reliable and is great to talk to with regard to his many diverse interests and passions. We had a lot of friendly exchanges in the months before our meetup. I was fortunate that he was in Pittsburgh for a conference. And thus began our "Punches without Borders" experience.

Make no mistake .... when his gloves (or fists) go up, this guy is TOUGH. He knows how to throw and land a HARD punch with either his fists or his big white 18-ounce gloves (ouch!). And he knows how to place a punch for full effect. I am very grateful that gutpuncher219 delivered exactly as he promised ...... to push this newbie to my limits while at the same time respecting my comfort level .... a tricky balance.

As for taking punches, yikes!!! I was more than impressed. Gutpuncher219 can take a lot more than I can give. This man can take lots and lots of HARD SHOTS .... and then ask for more. And he introduced me to a lot of different techniques and positions. The entire session not only felt great (in both directions), but I learned a lot.

Recently reconnected with this guy and can honestly say he has gotten so much better since we wrestled 5 years ago great sport easy to talk to and very strong and careful and wasn't long before we had a good sweat going so highly recommend

Had a long awaited rematch today and I'd echo my past recommendation - great guy, great host and always up for teaching while still having a competitive match. Has a good setup for hosting and is easy to co-ordinate and set up a time that works for both sides.

This guy never ages. Looks as great as the first time we met to wrestle 15 years ago. Today was our third meeting and each time it gets better. With so much heat pent up from the long wait between rematches, there was a lot to be released. It was a hot, steamy, strongly contested, sweaty match that ended with mutual satisfaction. Hopefully, we rematch in August.

Tyosub and I had a great match! He is new to wrestling, but has a fit, strong body and put-up a good fight. He has a strong body scissors and throws some good punches. Very nice guy and easy to coordinate scheduling/logistics. I look forward to another match!

It was a pleasure to meet and have a match with aw. Scheduling a match with him was a breeze. I was a little nervous before the match as we had some weight difference. Our match went on for more than an hour. It was fun and it turned out to be quite even. We were both surprised. I enjoyed the match as well as the conversations before and after the match. He was really friendly as well. Looking forward to meeting up again when there's a chance.

Damn, this "punk" sure packs a wallop; and to have them coming at your abs and pex (along with a few torso kicks from his lean limber legs) did end up being too much for me. Still, I know I impressed him some with how much my now bruised midsection could take. All in, it was a short but hot as heck encounter. I plan to take much more, if there's ever a next time, and claim my prize, too. Just be ready, PUNK! (And any of you guys wanting a smaller, younger dude to cut your coach-self down to size: get with this smart-ass stud. You won't regret it—though your abs will!)
