After chatting about wrestling for a long time, me and Locolano finally met on the mats. I gotta say we had a great time. He is strong but respects limits. He was open to trying different gear and even posing for some pictures. We both like the same back and forth, give and take noncompetitive style of wrestling. It was fun trading holds with him and testing each other's strength. I would definetly recommend Loco and I look forward to the next time we meet on the mats!

Whoa!...Strong guy! Didn't think I'd have a chance with his weight advantage, but it turned out great. Parts of me are stronger than he thought.
And a great guy. Much appreciated was the tests of strength between us.

Not quite sure why, but even though we were both at the wrestling camp we only got a brief time to roll.
End of training round robin… probably less than a minute… some hand fighting; my uchimata; his spin out and move behind me and we’re done… He scores points and stays on, I go to sit watch and catch my breath.
Missed opportunity at the grappling open mat was definitely my loss. Great to watch fight, good technique…

I’m sure there will be other opportunities. Next year’s camp at least…

End of the second full day at the Lindow wrestling camp. Final training session completed and quick open mat before warm down… kinda strolled into this chap by chance and agreed to roll…
A little nervous for sure, almost to the level of static electricity, but keen and attempts to take control of the fight. Ability and technique will come with practice. From that short fight I’d roll again. Always something to learn, whoever you roll with…
Let’s see what happens at next year’s camp…

I recommend PatPatterson a/k/a Calicub as a worthy opponent. He is well muscled and strong, yet didn’t try to overpower me but kept our match at a level that was fun for us both. We had a most enjoyable afternoon wrestling and even got in a little oil wrestling. He is very much a gentleman on and off the mat and left me looking forward to meeting again.

A very strong and technically well-prepared player. Sparring with him was pure pleasure and an amazing challenge, he made me tired, but it was a positive tiredness. He is also a handsome guy, it was nice to talk to him on various topics, it was fun to show him at least a little bit of the city. I hope that it was not our only meeting and we will be able to meet again.

Friendly and easy to organise a meet with. He's a fun heel to wrestle and I'm looking forward to our next match
