Had a great first match with SpladlePin. He has a great mat space and put up a good fight! He is a gracious host and a solid grappler. Don't hesitate to set up a match with him if you get the chance!

Another well-trained (and hot) grappler I met north of the border, one of two that weekend skilled enough to match me despite my size. I'm impressed to say the least. Since we're currently 1-1 (not counting the 6 on 1 match he joined in) I'm looking forward to another match in the future to settle the score. He's a great guy and great fun to be around whether wrestling or just hanging out. Highly recommend if you get the chance to test yourself against him.

Really tough on the mat, but a very kind, likeable guy at all. Just as it should be :-) Enjoyed meeting him.👍

Note to myself: no trip to Paris without asking him for a match. A real fighter - I love to practice techniques and to fight together, hope we will do it more or less regular :)

Had a great meet up for wrestling with Ringhot. He is a good wrestler and had lots of fun with him. Thanks for meeting with me.

Had an amazing time meeting Sunny and everyone else during my trip. This guy is a great wrestler and too modest. I'm not ashamed to say if not for the size difference I wouldn't have stood a chance. He's skilled enough to take you down but also open to playing the jobber, lots of fun to be had either way. Other than wrestling he's fun, funny, great to chat or to teach, and the hard, hot bod certainly doesn't hurt either. 10/10 will definitely wrestle again.

Ich habe gestern Eric getroffen, der aus Frankreich nach Deutschland gereist ist und in Hamburg ein kleines Apartment angemietet hatte. Mitgebracht hatte ich meine Matten.
Eric ist ein super sympathischer, cooler Typ.
Auch ganz wichtig: Er spricht sehr gut Englisch, was für einen Franzosen nicht selbstverständlich ist.
Gekämpft haben wir in Singlets. Ich war sehr überrascht, wieviel Kraft Eric hat, denn trotz unserer unterschiedlichen Statur konnte er sehr, sehr gut mithalten und wir sind zusammen ordentlich ins Schwitzen gekommen.
Es ist halt immer wieder spannend: Einige Funfighter hier haben Muskelberge und sind angesichts dessen eigentlich relativ schwach auf der Matte. Eric ist hingegen das genaue Gegenteil: Sehr stark, durchtrainiert und sehr drahtig. Dies macht ihn sehr schnell und wendig auf der Matte. Auf ihm Ausruhen im Haltegriff ist also nicht angesagt, denn er weiß sehr gut sich zu wehren und zu kontern.
Mit viel Spaß und Lachen haben wir dann die Matte verlassen und ich durfte zum Abschluss noch eine kleine Rückenmassage genießen.
In Summe kann ich Eric daher voll empfehlen (!!) und freue mich schon auf seinen nächsten Besuch hier in Deutschland.

English Version:
Yesterday I met Eric who traveled to Germany from France and rented a small apartment in Hamburg. I brought my mats with me. Eric is a super likeable, cool guy.
Also very important: He speaks very good English, which isn't a matter of course for a French person.
We fought in singlets. I was very surprised, how much strength Eric has. Despite our different body shapes, he was able to keep up very, very well and we worked up a sweat together.
It's always interesting: Some funfighters here have muscle mountains and are relatively weak on the mat regarding their muscle mass. Eric, on the other hand, is the exact opposite: Very strong, well trained and very wiry. This makes him very fast and agile on the mat. Resting on him while pinning isn't a good idea, because he is very good at defending himself and countering.
We left the mat with a lot of fun and laughter and I had the luck to enjoy a little back massage at the end.
All in all, I can fully recommend Eric (!!) and I'm already looking forward to his next visit here in Germany.

A nice two-hour match, correct and reliable person. He is very experienced, I hope I have been a good opponent. Definitely to be repeated, see you next time!

This was by far my longest first meeting with any meetfighters member. And it still felt short. Really a great guy and strong fighter. We had several intense rounds. And I have no doubt that many more will follow. Simply a pleasure to spend time with him - on as well as off the mat.
