I very much enjoyed meeting Canwrestle. As someone new to wrestling, he took his time and taught me some moves which I truly appreciate; and had the opportunity to apply them with him and other matches.
I really look forward to learning more from him, as well as, being able to match him more and more as we wrestle more together. I totally recommend him.

Leanmachine was a delight to have on the mats in Toronto this past weekend! He did incredibly well in our match, guarding and defending from the assaults. He's already got a great toolbox, and it was fascinating watching him take in what we taught him about submission opportunities and holes in his defences, and then apply them into his next matches. He keeps surprising me with his endurance, tenacity, and how quickly he picks up new skills. Definitely a strong challenger to keep an eye out for if you find yourself crossing paths with him!

Had a match with ry0129 this weekend as part of group match. he's in great shape very eager. A fast learner too, I definitely look forward to wrestling him again!

This guy! I think the description below of “little ball of fire”describes him perfectly! He came, he saw, and he conquered almost all of us in our Toronto group meetup. Did I underestimate him based on his size? Yes. Do I regret making that decision. Hell yes! All I could think both during our match and watching him wrestle was “how the hell did he pull that off?” . Great dude off the mats as well. Took the time to show us a few techniques and defence strategies. Look out boys, this one you definitely need to add to your list.

I've never been described as a little explosive ball of power before and I'm very into it, though I guess next to JJR anyone is small!
JJR is such a study in contrasts. The man is towering and imposing yet is soft spoken. He is reserved off the mat yet fiery on them. I was excited to see whether he would be able to watch me struggle under him as he had anticipated. While I ultimately prevailed this time around, I had not anticipated how strong or skilled he would be, pairing skill and power with his weight and height advantage. He's gonna grow by leaps and bounds as a wrestler!

So consider this a challenge, JJR: come try and make to struggle 😉

I knew I was gonna have a good time with libertine, but I didn't realise how much fun I'd have both watching him grapple and getting my hands on him. As a spectator, it is an entire entertainment event watching him manhandle a cocky wrestler, complete with flourish. winks at the audience, and an unceasing capacity to trash talk. As an opponent, I managed to silence the trash talk by overpowering him, but that did little to stop his distracting boyish charm and tactics. Gonna have to spend a lot more time punishing him in the future haha

The rumours about wrestlinboi are all true. He is, in fact, disarmingly handsome, kind hearted, thoughtful, and a delight to hang out with. He is also one of only a handful of guys at the Toronto weekend event capable of making me tap. This guy started BJJ a month ago and is already THIS good, I'm actively stressed by how much progress he is going to make in a months time when we meet up again. Beware those beefy legs!

Oh wrassluna. My first impression of him was that he did not fear death, because I walked in on him trying boxing for the first time against the boxing powderkeg that is Boxmyfacein. A jobber at heart and soul, he was laughing and having a great time both in grappling and boxing, and you can't help but smile as you stretch and squeeze the boy. Truly a heel's delight, this boy!

It’s rare to meet a mountain up close and personal but, I’ve got to say walking up to Piledriverva was just like that.

Formidable is totally understated where this man is concerned. Big, strong, powerful and with a bearhug grip that could make even a Sequoia squirm…and the most disarming smile you can imagine…it’s impossible not to fall to the charms of this “mountain”!
It’s my honor to have met this man on the mats, and an even bigger honor to consider him a new friend.
A beast in the game, this guy is every bit and more, a true, genuine individual off the mats. My only regret is that I only got one chance to roll with him. Be certain, given the opportunity, that will be rectified.😉

Boxmyfacein has a fearlessness that I can only admire. I've watched this guy dive in headfirst into matches with guys of all shapes, sizes, and skill levels with the same level of enthusiasm, even when it is clear he is being outclassed. For a guy who is a striker first and foremost, it's clear that lessons are sinking in and he's learning to defend and attack with ferocity and good humour.

Off the mats, his reputation for ferocity in no way bleeds into how considerate and thoughtful he is. Highly recommend when he comes to your area!
