Short lived match, but TOTALLY worth it with this stud. He made sure I knew my place, and man! What a heel. Not to mention he looks great in skimpy gear. He applied several full weight smothers, and I was at his mercy — literally.

I was delighted when an opportunity arose for Ninja soon and I to meet. He was so easy to communicate and organise with and we had some fun chat beforehand. I was met by a very friendly handsome guy and we had a nice conversation before getting down to business. Our match was submissions, and although he doesn’t have any training, Ninja soon is a strong fighter with great instincts, and he’s picked up a few moves! I had a really great, exhausting time, which flew by! Such a lovely guy and great company on and off the mats, I very much hope this won’t be our last encounter, and I’d highly recommend him!

wrestle08 is a great-looking, strong, and kind host. Just for the record, I made him tap once, and he never made me officially tap out (close to tap out like 20 times). I think my muscle prevailed over his "technique", but I guess that's up to the rematch to decide.

There are Meetfighters and then there are MEETFIGHTERS. I put mattz4fun in the MEETFIGHTERS class where guys meet, wrestle with respect and go hard at the wrestling but still have fun and come away as friends.
M4F is one of the legends of this site and you can certainly see why he has over 600 meets.
His communication is A1 and his commitment to make this meeting happen is reflective of his personality. He's as honest as the day is long.
We met at an LAX hotel early morning with usual cordial greetings and then it was down to business and trust me, we wrestled for nearly 2 hours. This guy is a beast. Strong doesn't do him justice. I have waited a long time to test my skills against this guy and his skills are top class.
Tests of strength with both of us trying to position ourselves in dominance, upper body muscles flexing and manoevering to counter each other, it was grappling at it's best that no gym workout could ever provide.
Yes, he had me tapping too. M4F also provided some guidance and demonstrated other holds along the way.
Of all my meetings on this USA west coast tour (respectful to other guys I have met) Mattz4fun has become my all-time best opponent and one I know will happen again in the future.
I'm leaving LA today (7th July) with a new friend & brother, and a new connection as we have so much in common. Until next time Mattz4fun, keep those mats ready, I'll be back you can be guaranteed.

The final stop of my trip to Los Angeles and Palm Springs ended on the perfect note this morning when I finally had the opportunity to meet—and wrestle—the legendary Mattz4fun.
We had tried several times to get together, but schedules kept getting in the way. M4F was kind enough to come by my hotel before my flight so we could squeeze in a little grappling before I headed to the airport.
Everything you’ve heard about M4F is true. He’s incredibly strong, exceptionally knowledgeable, technically brilliant, and just a terrific guy. Even though our session was shorter than either of us would have liked—I still had to get dressed and catch my flight—we packed a lot into our time together. We traded holds, rolled around, got in a great workout, and I picked up a few things along the way.
It was the perfect way to wrap up eight unforgettable days on the West Coast, and even more satisfying to finally meet someone I’d been looking forward to wrestling for quite some time.
He certainly doesn’t need another recommendation from me. His reputation has already been earned through countless matches and glowing endorsements. But I’ll happily add my voice to the chorus. If you can meet him, take it. If you have the chance to wrestle him, don’t hesitate. You’ll have a fantastic time, come away having learned something new, and, if you’re lucky, leave having made a great new friend.
