Good to see this excellent guy back on Meetfighters after a gap. I have met him twice, once in New York and once in his home city of Ottawa. I thoroughly enjoyed both encounters. He's good fun, very likeable and easy to get on with. And yes, as he says, his legs are indeed ridiculously strong: scissors enthusiasts please note. His squeeze techniques are powerful!

Update: Actually, I blush at what he's written about me. For one thing, there was plenty of other stuff during our happy three hours together: a catch-up between long-term cross-generation friends, some great, interesting chat about masses of shared enthusiasms, some coffee supped, I think ... Three-hour headscissors? Well I think it might be possible to have just too much of a good thing.

All of which doesn't stop me, of course, from looking forward to my next 'in person' encounter with this great guy. He's half my age but I'm so happy to have him as a friend.

Update March 2020. I had the honour of being the first person "Dipper" met on his arrival in the UK after a long flight from Canada (via Iceland). He was tired but we had a great time together - theatre, chat ... oh, and a little gentle wrestling. In an earlier version of his MF profile he used to say "good luck getting out of my scissors". I'm here to report that the comment remains entirely apposite: his legs are big and powerful as ever - even though I didn't get anything like full scissor-power.

As ever, despite the difference in our ages, he was so easy to get on with. Such a nice guy! We hope to meet again at the end of his current trip round the UK.

Had a great time with mdbxrsrslr! He spent time generously reviewing and practicing punches, using the mitts and checking stance/foot work with me–if you can't float like a butterfly, it's pretty hard to sting like a bee! He is a certified boxing coach so he knows his business! We sparred with head protection and I had a super time. A great teacher, very friendly and flexible. If you want to box with someone who knows that art and the science behind it all–he's your guy! Would love to box with him again.

Wrestled this man today on short notice while home from school. He was very accommodating and friendly. On the mats he's a great opponent, super strong and able to give you a good match even when holding back. Also knowledgeable enough to make sure no injuries happen while wrestling. If you get the chance I really recommend hitting the mats with this guy, really awesome fella and I hope to grapple with him again soon.

Have chatted with Letstangle for a few weeks now, and finally to set up a meet with him today. We're going to work on polishing up his boxing skills, but he's aggressive, eager to learn and a lot of fun to work with. Has a great little gym set up, too, so look him up with when you're in town! So looking forward to our next meeting!

Mr. OldrFtr is a tough, muscular man. He works out hard with weights and it shows in his wrestling power and when he flexes. It was so much fun to wrestle against his strength and to occasionally get the upper hand. He also has a powerful punch. We body boxed and I came away schooled. I highly recommend OldrFtr!

Wrestled this young man today and had a great match. He is a lot of fun wasn't as long as I wanted because had to get back to work. If you get the chance to wrestle him take it. Don't let his quietness fool you he is tuff when he wants to be. !!

NickZ is one of the toughest, skilled lightweight grapplers around and a lot of fun to keep at bay or on top of him. Very much an energized, strong opponent. Also one of the nicest, serious freestyler/submission wrestler out there. Highly recommend him.

Safe, sane, strong and mischievous Luxxor is a wall of muscle hidden behind a warm smile. He easily thumped me into the mats, this stud is just a great wrestle. Would wrestle again, had to trick him into leg wrestling to get a win off of him, truly some of the best Manhattan has to offer.

Great guy. Lots of fun.
