I met Crushhh due to a 4-way tournament in London and had the opportunity to wrestle him, as well as seeing him wrestling other guys. First thing I realized were his strong forearms when he took his jacket off. No need to say that he is in an amazing shape. On the mats he can go on with only very little breaks between the matches and he’s ready again to take on the next opponent. I loved trading holds and swapping positions with him. Crushhh brings a great enthusiasm and a decent amount of strength to the match.
And all this after he only slept a few hours and already had an intense wrestling session just the night before. Very lovely person also at lunch after the match. Definitely recommended for a good roll on the mats.

We first met at the coffee shop next to the mat room, and it was immediately clear this guy is a pro. I was deeply impressed by his ears and it was obvious judomonkey is not going to tap easily, if at all. On the mats I discovered a highly skilled bjj fighter. Knowing how to react in every situation. Grabbing the arms, the shoulders, the legs, putting pressure on the body, not even leaving a millimeter of space to move, but using every little mistake from my side to put on his holds....and all this in a very calm and controlled manner. Loved the technical approach he brings to the mats. It’s been such a good experience to step on the mats with this giant. At lunch after the match he showed the same qualities; calm, reflected and a lovely personality. A great guy to meet. Recommended to fighters of any skill level, since he knows perfectly how to adapt and keep the match interesting. Challenge him guys, you will have a blast.

Sa chambre de lutte avec quasi 9m² de mousses nous a permis de mener de belles manches bien dynamiques. J'ai vite compris que mon grand/gros gabarit n'allait pas m'aider à prendre le dessus sur ce combattant compact et robuste. Il faut bien avouer qu'il m'a dominé sans trop de difficulté. C'était un plaisir de se dépenser ensemble et de se mesurer l'un à l'autre, dans un affrontement de grappling-soumission big vs small !

À noter aussi que Sagittaron2 possède une belle collection de singlets / maillots de lutte :)

04/01/2020: It was excellent to get the legendary Cymrofight back in Ynys Prydain and back on the mats at the Wrestling Factory in Ancoats. Our previous bouts had been submission grappling, where he could put his jujitsu skills to use, and in which to avoid undignified tapping out Iʼd had to resort to sitting on him, but this time we mixed it up with some give-and-take and some jobber–heel work. As Iʼd thought might be the case, my cluelessness about pro wrestling and his sweet and sunny nature meant that it probably wasnʼt the most convincing pro squash match thatʼs ever taken place, despite him very much looking the part in the big black heelʼs pro boots, but it was nevertheless a lot of fun, and frankly Iʼll do whatever style he likes to get more mat time with his quality wrestler and absolutely lovely guy, because it is astonishing just how little time 20 minutes is—even when youʼre in a painful leg lace. I wish Cymrofight all the best in his endeavours overseas, but weʼre looking forward to getting him back as a regular on the UK wrestling scene. Safe and sane, a highly recommended, highly lovely highlight of a great meet.

Paul is a super guy with the body a man half his age would be proud of.
With his fitness and wrestling skills he can dictate the pace of the match giving you a workout and keeping the match flowing ,time went by so fast.
He is a great guy to spend time with and I hope one day I will have the great pleasure of wrestling him again

This guy is fit, feisty and loads of fun to wrestle. We’ve wrestled many times, and each one has been even better than the last. Easy going personality and thoroughly reliable, as well as totally safe and sane on the mat. Very highly recommended.

Really cool dude. Was very patient with me, a first timer, and taught me a lot. Would recommend to wrestlers of all experience levels.

Watch out, Gonz will Rule! Quick, strong, fit and athletic, Gonz put me through my paces. With an obvious size "advantage" I trapped him several times. Giving him starting advantage, though, he was tough to reverse, and got me good. Even more awesome was the time we shared off the mats. Truly a great day with an awesome guy! I feel like I made a friend for life!

Nach längerem Nachrichten austauschen, hat es dann doch gestern relativ spontan ein Treffen gegeben.
Hm....aber was soll ich schreiben, was nicht schon geschrieben wurde...zu dem bin ich fast etwas sprachlos. Man kann interessante Gespräche mit ihm führen, er ist sehr nett und freundlich aber auf der Matte legt er los. Ok auch da eigentlich immer noch nett und freundlich aber eine Klasse für sich. Der Mann hat einen durchtrainierten Body, ist stark, hat sehr gute Technik und Konditionen. Trotzdem macht es grossen Spass mit ihm zu ringen. Er hat meine 100% Empfehlungen und es wird eine Revanche geben.
